It's attractive to butterflies and bees. The leaves also attract many other nice insects such as shield bugs. The plant is perennial and if you give it a bit of humidity it will grow with bigger fleshy leaves giving a good glaucous green sensation. In my zone nobody cultivate this plant but I think that it have a good garden potential, I cultivate it since four years ago and it's very good, and not self-sow invading the garden (at least in my garden).
