This would be a great flower for leis, and, for storing on a table inside in a posy ring or bowl of water for a couple of days. The flowers are intense and very eye-catching---a true specimen plant. It can be grown in a large container, though it will need trimming to keep it compact and a manageable size (cuttings anyone? They are easy to root). Also, containerized specimens should be root-pruned every couple of years to keep them from overtaking their pots. Keep from freezing temps. Like all plumeria, it can be encouraged to go dormant by leavnig it out a few days in weather that is in the 40s until all the leaves drop. You can then store the plant in its pot in a dark room or basement for the winter. Check once a month and make sure it isn't shrivelled---then and ONLY then, if it is, give it a small drink of water---otherwise leave it dry until ready to put it outside in the warm Spring weather. This is a must-have plumeria for any plumeria lover!
