Flower brilliant yellow with strong red bands Petal long, narrow, pointed tip, slightly overlapping; narrow strong red bands on front and back Size four-and-one-quarter inches in diameter Scent mild lemon fragrance Stalk strong pink, smooth, pendent, loose flower clusters Keeping quality good Leaves light green with acute tips Plant habit upright, dense branching; suitable for landscaping Bearing habit April to November, moderate flower production Parentage P. rubra f. rubra x P. r. f. acuminata Remarks Flowers are novel for their wavy petals that resemble Vanda orchids and are most noticeable during summer and fall months.
