After three months of dormancy it erupted with rapidly growing foliage of large healthy leaves and has been continuously blooming for the last two months. We are in 9a/b CHZ with a fortuitous microclimate due to adjacent lake and bay head swamp. We await the events of this winter. Amazing plant. Beautiful and very fragrant. I believe it will survive here.

I've found its 'deciduous' and I'm going with that for now. (ie I'm ignoring the fact we live in the subtropics so 'deciduous' isn't really a thing here...and I'm letting its leaves drop and hoping come spring, with a good feed, it'll cheer up).
