I loved to see the lessers in the greater Denver, CO area. Miss those sweet birds as I don't see them where I currently live (coastal NC).

First time in 10 years these sweet little yellow birds have visited us in Arvada Colorado! Just outside our bay window we located a bird bath and feeders in our garden of over 50 roses.

I've seen these eating the seeds from my sage (Salvia coccinea) seed stalks.

The best way to attract these beautiful little birds is with a sock feeder full of nyger.

Brushy, wild-type sunflowers attract this cutie. I always let a few volunteers grow for this reason.

Cute as a button, and quite tame. I love it when the clumsy little fledglings try to imitate their parents by clinging (unsuccessfully) to the tube feeder! These are fun to watch, and their calls are surprisingly loud for such a small bird.

They have a sweet song and readily come to the thistle feeder
