I'll be glad to give this guy a positive rating. Whenever I am lucky enough to find one in my yard, I place it under my low-growing plants - such as hostas, and let it feast on the native snails that are so destructive. Go Rosy!!

This snail eats other snails. In it's natural range, its a plus. However, it has been introduced to some tropical islands (in order to control other introduced snails). On the islands, the rosy predator wreaks havoc on native snails and may have led to some extinctions.
