Gorgeous, huge butterfly. We saw quite a few at Chicago Botanic Garden's "Butterflies & Blooms" exhibit in July, 2014.

Apparently they like to "perch" on people and my husband walked around for about an hour with one on his shirt back and one on his jeans. They both seemed perfectly content!

The large "Owl Eye" marking almost looks three-dimensional.
