I just wanted to post to say I am in Western NY and this year is the first I recall seeing these guys and they are everywhere! They do very much make me think of Fairies. And even as I\'m writing this they keep landing on me. Do they bite!?

We've been seeing hundreds of these little things flying around our property in East Texas. At first, we thought they might be spores or seed pods, until we caught a few and studied them up close. Interesting little things. Hope they don't destroy anything important.

Have Always Loved this little things. They look like microscopic faeries floating around. We haven't seen them in years. We used to see them like clockwork in Upstate NY in the Catskill Mountains where we lived every year in the 1980's. Very Neat and Magical Looking to say the least.
