These are huge moths - ranging from 4" to 7" in wing span. Females are easily distinguished by the white rick-rack markings. Both sexes will frequent butterfly brew and fruit trays if the area is shaded during the day and most often during the evening. There are some color variations depending on how the light catches the wings. Some have a nice green to purple rainbow iridescence.
