I found this on my ornamental corn and did a pretty good job defoliating an entire leaf.

I found several of these eating my Castor Bean Plants. They have been leaving huge holes in the leaves. Also on my Angel & Devil Trumpets & Glads & several other plants. As much as they are suppose to be good luck ... I did want to kill them all ... but he hubby caught them and took them on a road trip down the street.

Found this katydid on my giant Dahlia leaves in August, they did not seem to do any noticeable damage to the leaves. I found no need to eradicate them. The Dahlias grew fine. ☺

* Special thanks to 'claypa' for positively identifying it for me.
