I have seen this bug on Monarda flowers in my backyard in Princeton, New Jersey. Actually the one I have seen has more beautiful colors than the ones I found pictured online. The main color of the body is green, it has a black band in the middle, and the white spots on the sides, but the black tail seems to have a dark orange edge. I have pictured it, but the result is a little blurry
