This wasp is native to North America and beneficial to have around. They paralyse the caterpillars found in our gardens and stuff them into nest cells to feed the grubs after they hatch. They are not aggressive toward humans. I would recommend people not automatically kill a wasp and allow them to bother the bugs that really cause troubles for us. :)
