Spring Show your pic's ...#2

What gorgeous pictures all! BeaHive, I'd love to live that close to a display garden like that! I've tried lupine several times, but never had any luck - it likes cool evenings and we never have a summer with cool evenings. My daughter lives in Steamboat Springs, CO and tells me when I visit in a month I'll have lupine envy!

LOL.

It's a deep purple-ish-blue. It's "King Size Navy Blue". It smells pretty too.

huggergirl. I think I have had my first Lewisia for about 6 weeks . It is still in bloom, but of course not as heavily as when first purchased. The plant is pretty to look at when not in bloom however.
Here is a link about gowing them.

I purchased Lewisia out of curiosity several years ago.

I lost one mound right away due to it staying to wet )bad location choice), but they are a lot like cactus. Don't like their feet standing in water. However.. the one I planted in a container (in cactus medium) is now 6 years old, and while the main plant looks funky...it continues to bloom it's little heart out annually.

Highmtn..beautiful Lewisia! ....NYrita..Beautiful Clematis!

This clematis is huge this year and doing great! It has reached the roof of my covered deck! It is intertwined with a climbing pink rose that should be blooming very soon.

The last iris of the season! I was deadheading my iris Sunday and noticed one stem still had one unopened bloom. I cut the stalk, but could not pass up the chance to have one last hint of spring in my bathroom. It opened this morning. This is Old Black Magic.

Meadowwyck..

That gorgeous plant with the white flowers looks to be a succulant of some type. I have a close, but not quite one that blooms yellow. I just love it too.

Yours is beautiful! All the photos are gorgeous!
