Great lilies Diann, I can see another Buggy order! Gotta have that Buggy Starburst.

Love Pink Panther, but I'll pass on humming the tune :-)

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Thanks Sue!! You must get Starburst!! It is one of my most very favorite lilies of all time... And I bet you could hum that Pink Panther theme just fine. Moby does really good on Go Go Go Godzilla (which is yet to bloom). :)

Sorry been gone all day! Polkadot Bikini is not available on the market. It was given to me by someone who got it directly from the hybridizer, Hod Hoepner, who has passed on. I also have Sweet Loraine but no buds on her this year.

So, what's your address so that we can come... uh... see this lily in person?? ;)

Sand Springs, OK(Zone 7a)

car screeching away headed for OK.

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

I've been lurking and lurking lately and looking at everyone else's gorgeous lilies while waiting for mine to bloom. Really love some of the lilies you've all posted. Of course Polkadot bikini is just too cute! Our spring has been so cold that even the asiatic lilies I've had for years have just started blooming. I'm so excited that I finally have a few of my own flowers to share! So here's Eurydice

These were supposed to be Tango Dot Com....ooops....But I like them anyway, whatever they are.

Hey Susy-- great looking lilies you have! Yes, spring was so cold our lilies are running late. But I'm starting to get some now and will post when I get a little extra time to edit them. I've been waaaaaay too busy pollinating!!

Eurydice didn't put on a single bud for me. Hope springs eternal for next year!

Is it smokey up your way (from CA fires)?

Vancouver, WA(Zone 8a)

Hi Pard! Thanks! It's been a loooong wait to see some of these bloom... I'd like to see some of your blooms this year-any seedlings yet?

Some of my lilies are having a tough year, too. I've got a couple that are sulking, plus I won't be seeing blooms on a number of them due to lots of collateral squirrel damage that just makes me sick to see. Pink Up is a 6" tall stub with four leaves after being bitten off right after it sprouted, a catfight in my yard (errr!!!) bent the stalk and broke off the buds on Fairest....sigh....I've even got some sunburn on a few leaves and a couple of blooms, and a few buds look scalded as well. Our freaky one-day spells near (or at) 100' has really been hard on the plants. I feel a little like the bug underneath the little boy's magnifying glass......

Yes, we're seeing enough of the smoke all the way up here that it was pretty hazy all day. Was it really bad near you?

Sunset was gorgeous, though.

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

I have leaf burn on a few from Saturday's 100 degree heat. It really got those slow Asiatics rockin' though. Tomorrow I will get some pics of buggy flowers. I won't have many new seedlings bloom this year but I will post those that do bloom and of course my past successes that have returned. Not all have returned. Every year I lose a few.

It has been smokey/hazey for several days now but will hopefull clear out soon. Yes, splendid sunsets. Well, when this clears out the grass seed farmers will start burning their fields...

You need to give those cats a talking to!

susybell,
That white lily is exactly like my Timaru LA lily I got from BuggyCrazy.

Ticker,
Thanks for a great breakfast.

Great photos everyone!

Anytime Arlene. I had to restrain myself (hard to believe, I know), I had 50 some pictures that I took last night and all but five were of different lilies... :)

Pirl that is a beautiful site to see from your kitchen door. :) Lovely setting and design. :)

How many kinds do you think you've collected Ticker?

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

Well, let's see the rest

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Lovely garden bed pirl! Rosepoint Lace is beautiful. Here's my Jacqueline. Not sure if I got a bad quality bulb or what, but it always seems a little "off", like the blooms are too small and the rest too big. I think it's going to get replaced with something else in that bed.

Pard, yes, I think the heat got mine going too. Still, the sunburn has taken a toll on lots of other plants as well. Looking forward to your Buggy pics!

Twinlakes, Yes, I was thinking my lily looked a lot like yours, too! I didn't get these from Buggy, though, so I was thinking that they might also be Navona. Either way, beautiful, and at least white won't blow the color combo I was trying for, which was pinks, plums, and burgundies.... ;)

Pirl, love your patio beds-just lovely-you can build me one just like that anytime! ;)

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

I have no idea how many I've collected. Not nearly as many as most of you. But, I do have an addiction for them (and peony and hosta).

A lot of the ones last night are NOIDs. Bought those back before I found Buggy and Faraway Flowers, etal.. :)

Here's one called First Lady... It's stopped raining and the sun is coming out, I need to get my rearus endus back outside and get to work again...

I don't know where to begin singing praises. The lilies that have bloomed in this thread in the past couple of days are kind of mind-blowingly beautiful and diverse.

Here's my only contribution, a picture from the garden this morning. Zeus, Karen North and Raggio di Sole (sp?) just starting to open in the middle there.

Laura, that's a pretty nice contribution. :) Looking good!

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

Pirl,
What companion plants are in your picture? It looks so good.

Wickerparker,
You also have done a beautiful job with composition. That's something I am working on.

(Arlene) Southold, NY(Zone 7a)

Thanks for all the compliments.

TLC: ajuga, Malaysian Monarch daylily (not yet in bloom, obviously) with coleus to the left and right along with Antoinette sedum and dahlias of pink and purple behind the rock to match the pink and purple of the clematis that should be growing up the tree but is crossing the Asiatics instead! A few Oriental lilies were added to the bed two years ago (for beauty and fragrance) so I'm hoping they'll be in bloom shortly before the rest of the lilies die back.

Poland, ME

You know, you people are driving me CRAZY! I only have a couple blooming so far and nothing worthy of showing off! :(

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

I felt terrible bogging down this thread so forgive me, I started my own....

mainiac, your time will come soon. It's like it all happens at once....

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Mainiac, if it makes you feel better i've only had 'Cancun', 'Granny', 'Elegant Lady' and a one or two NOIDS!

But I do love Granny!

Oh Ramona, and when you do start getting lilies blooming it will be just like the 4th of July all over again! Colors popping everywhere! I can hardly wait. :)

Boogie Woogie

Winchester, KY(Zone 6a)

ge1836, "enough lilies"? I don't know the meaning of that expression, LOL!

Loving everyone's lily show! Eurydice and Karen North are so lovely- I just added those 2 this year, but neither is producing a bloom- the bulbs were pretty small, so I'll sustain myself with these wonderful pics and employ patience. Rosepoint Lace was another I added this spring, and did get a couple of blooms to enjoy- can't wait to see it in mature splendour!

The OTs are coming into full glory, and oh, how I love them! That rich, musky fragrance is starting to engulf the entire garden,...aaaahhhhhh. BoogieWoogie is lovely, more so than the catalog pics depict.

(Judith) Denver, CO(Zone 5b)

I planted Boogie Woogie too last fall, but I thought they were supposed to be a pale yellow with a pale red stripe around the edge of the petal. Mine haven't bloomed yet.
