Here's another from buggycrazy, Golden Torch - fantastic.
Summer Lilies
Lots of nice ones today jmoth. Arctic Ice looks like a really good white one. Golden Torch is wonderful
Very nice 'Gambetta' Steve. The flower looks really great. The picture I have seen has (if my memory serves me correctly) a light pink area in it? Do you see it in yours? I think some of those things can be weather dependent.
Things are slow here..really about 2 weeks behind, compared to the last few years anyway. I guess that means I may have lilies later in August than I usually do.

Wow, this is THE thread that I would go over and over again to select my future collection of more lilies. All are so beautiful!
J. I'm looking forward to your future posting. Has your gloriosa lilies begun to bloom there yet?
Kim
p.s. Gemini_sage, if that is 'Menorca' mine isn't it.
Enjoying the lilies you guys, but I have a bit to wait.
And I don't know why it is that that 'Menorca' color is so tough to capture on camera. It's much better in person, isn't it?
'Tiger Babies' really thrives here. It's an amazing resilient lily, Judith is absolutely right. It can take salt from the driveway (with over 100 inches of snow this year, what could I do?). It can take the heat, the cold and still turn out just perfect. And for whatever reason, the critters out here have always left it alone.
Steve, the 2 Orientals I mentioned in the above post made me think of you. They may just bloom early enough (before the really hot weather sets in) to do well for you.
This pink Asiatic doesn't match any of the pics from the source, so I'm not sure of its id. It looks closest to Vermeer, which I got from 2 sources this spring, but doesn't look like the other Vermeer that is blooming (that does match the pics). It looks like its "trying" to be double.
Tracie, what a great bed full of potential! I bet the anticipation is driving you nuts! Can't wait to see all those blooms :-)
LilyLove, I'm rather haphazzard while in my planting frenzies, so don't go by my pics, LOL. But it does seem to match these Plantfiles pics:

Thats it for now. This is another shot of Royal Sunset after more buds have opened. I just noticed there is a cicada in there, like its looking right at the camera, LOL.
Gemini_sage, I think your noid might be Cannes

I ordered from the same coop and got that one :) it's not blooming yet, or i'd add a pic.
edited to say- oh never mind- looked closer and Cannes seems to have a red tipped uh female organ- can't for the life of me remember what it's called at the moment

Wow, Jmorth and Neal, you guy must be in lily heaven!!! So many beautiful lilies.. I want more landscape shots!!
Besides my Crimson Pixie and some Peach Pixies, I have some Stones and Menorca blooming and one other one that I can't remember at the moment... They are at home on the camera.. Shimmer is blooming. ;) and I noticed on the way down the drive that another new one was blooming, I just don't know who yet. LOL
Moby, love that Landini. :) Mine isn't even close to blooming yet.
Laura, is the little fish pool gone?? and actually, you do have several gardens. Yes, they run the perimeter of your back yard, but each one is a bit different from the others. :) None the less, they are all beautiful, despite all the construction going on.
Definitely lily heaven around here these days! And to think, my way up there favorites haven't even started yet, the OTs! Diann, I'm always trying to crop out weeds and hoses and tools and such- a perpetual work in progress, but here's one showing some companion plants. There's something blue in the lower right part of the pic I can't figure out, and its raining now- thats gonna drive me nuts, LOL.
Can't imagine having so many lilies blooming at once. Like Diann, I'd love to see some landscape shots. Mag, that album is so lovely. And can't wait to see those Tiger Babies. I'd planned to get some last fall, but at the last minute went with Buggy's Zeus instead. Put in ten in a clump with several Karen North and LA Raggio di Sole. Very excited by that. It's looking like they'll all bloom at the same time, or overlap, but I too am a good two weeks behind schedule this year.
Diann, the fish pool is just covered up with plywood for protection during the work. Will be back in action soon, I hope. All the fish but one died last year in a tragic black plague, and the one survivor went in a little temporary pond, only to jump to his death a couple weeks ago. So we'll have to repopulate. Maybe we should stick to sea monkeys.
Gardens! I have gardens!
x-posted: beautiful combo, gemini_sage. Thanks for posting that pic.
Beautiful Neal!! Keep them coming! :) Weeds? I don't seen any weeds.. You want to see weeds you should see my gardens. I think that now the weather has settled down here I might actually be able to set foot in the gardens to weed a bit. I was working on the beds that surround the house and I've got just a little bit more to go and I'll have those weeded. I haven't even set foot in the hosta gardens yet. I'm finally breaking down and mulching everything as I go. If it helps control the weeds, well, so much the better. Heck, I'm down on my hands and knees weeding anyway, so what's the difference. It's way to tight to try to use a stand up hoe in my gardens anymore. It's almost too tight for me to wiggle in between plants... Yes, mulch maybe the answer. :) LOL
Laura, oh no first the Black Plague and then a suicidal fishie! Maybe he'd been watching that PBS commercial about the little Goldfish that jumps out of his tank and makes his way to the ocean and then rivers to swim up stream with the Salmon! or not. How soon will the construction be done and your back yard returned to normal?
Diann
Where have I been??????????????????
Beautiful everyone! My lilies are just starting to bloom now. My marties are just about in full bloom (the ones the rabbit didn't get) and several of the LAs and asiatics are opening.
I suffered incredible losses last winter and this spring and have many barren areas to re-lily, but that will be fun, I can get all of the ones I have been lusting over for years and will have room for them now!
This is what is left of the marties, the dang rabbit got about half of them. Really hard to get a good picture of this area.
Those are very nice, lilyfan.
Great picture, Sue!! I need to get me some marties.. I use to have them, but don't know what happened to them. More pictures, please! :)
Diann
Ooohhh, beautiful martagons! and only half of them left- I'd be ready to take up hunting!
Ha, I didn't even see a bucket till you said something. I never look for weeds, buckets, hoses, etc., when I'm looking at other peoples pictures. I'm just looking at the flowers. Now, my own pictures, well, that's a different story. I see every flaw in them. :) LOL
Neal, I agree. One could set up a sniper stand in one of her window and take out Buggs. LOL
