Funny that Don mentions steak cause we are having that too! Not on the grill though. My dad got called away to help a neighbor look for something with a metal detector right about the time we would have to get the grill going.
Snow on the ground, and flowers blooming all around!!
I decided on burritos, quick and easy!

Canadian maple ham on flat bread with lettuce here! Not bad when you don't feel like cooking..

The steak was a little tough but I'm not gonna tell the cook. :~)

Chocolate.....I dream choccies 24/7! Sticking to the dark variety now! What's your favorite?
Very very dark!! pure chocolate :) I also make make a wicked pan of brownies!! Try not to make them to often because then I must make brownie chunk cheesecake with a ganache topping with the ends that I cut off!! Ha ha ha ;o)
I like dark chocolate best but not the pure dark kind. Waaay to bitter. I like it right before it hits the bitter point.
You are right I like a bittersweet taste. When I was a kid I got to eat all the Herseys special dark candy from trick or treat they thought it was yucky he he.
70% and I love Lindt...tho' I take any brand!
OMG!! A guy who volunteers at work went to England this past summer and he brought back some Lindt chocolates. They were to die for!!! Even the white chocolate was great and I don't like white chocolate!!
2oz of 70% or more of dark chocolate a day is good for you. That is my excuse!
LOL. It is good for you. I have tried it several times and it's always too bitter.
Ok then Lindt it is :*) All this talk ... just might have to whip something up one day this week!!
If you whip anything up mail it to me!! LOL!
Think I could vacuum pack it?
Hmmm...I don't know. Probably.
Your bad :*)
LOL
Well, it all sounds good but 16 bean soup with cornbread is on my menu tonight. Been cookin' all day in the crockpot with smoked ham hock. Now I love steak, but cornbread and beans with a big slice of onion. That is Texas gourmet. Add a little raspberry-cilantro salsa. Bring it on.
LouC
Gimme it.......Christi!!!
Me too!! Mail some to us in spill proof packages. :~p
That's what I call stick-to-your-ribs gourmet, Christi!
And of course, a little glass of white wine. Emphasis LITTLE.
Milk Chocolate here, dark is way to bitter !!!!
Cow must have been corn fed, that was the tender most juicy steak, have had in a long while, well maybe a week anyhow!!!
