Normaly I don`t water the fresh flowers .

I hope my William Wallace looks that good! My cannas are just breaking the surface of the pots, but warming to the upper 70's low 80's this weekend. Let the growing season begin! Oh yeah, my maters in the basement are already about 6" tall, with about 3 weeks left before planting out. Now if I could get some time off, LOL.

Sorry.... ginger - My oldest child is 9 - the only time she is on the computer is to play dress-up games or type homework. BTW, we watched Chicken Run last night, the femme fatale (if you can call a chicken that) name was Ginger... I was laughing on the inside! I'm over 40, by 1 year at least(ok, in another month and week). Just worked 3 am to 3 pm, pouring it on (concrete that is). I'll cut the grass later, am having my beer now, and maybe another shortly. Red, good looking family, and yes, hubby looks distinguished. I just started getting more than one gray hair a few months back, but with a beard and hair to my shoulder blades, good luck seein it. Scored 20 one gallon pots today. Found in construction dumpster near a scrape off(tear down the old house, put up [usually] some sick monstrosity).

Work isn't so much hard as it is long, screwy hours. My b-day is 3rd of 6/66. My gf is 8/3/69, which is kind of cool in an odd way. Wow, another 3 years, and it's teenage years.

I always got 2-3 weeks for most jobs I had. ? (I was a media buyer) My DH gets 4 weeks, but has a heck of a time working them in... he works alot... I'm lucky I'm able to stay home with the kids now, I did have to work after the first was born, we was 'po ! lol we used to make our own beer : )

Doubt it. In most blue collar jobs,, nothing the first year, 1 wk second, 2 wks 3rd, 3 wks after 5-7, and 4 after 10+ yrs. Only some unions get the double OT outside 6am-6pm. We aren't union, so only get regular OT after 40 hrs worked, double on Sundays only. Usually have 40 hrs early Thur morn. We worked a full schedule day today (Sat) because 2 days got killed by weather, several inches of snow and rain-high 70's today, 82 tomorrow), and with all the bad weather this past winter, they are really far behind on major projects. Usually work abt 6hrs on volunteer basis on Sat's. And, I didn't work Mon and Tues, we were burying OH grandma on west slope- Paonia, Colorado. Beautiful little valley, and the cemetery was on a short mesa top overloooking said valley, with wild tulips all over the place. Very peaceful watching the rain/snow storms marching down the valley and butting into the mountains.
i guess it's vacation or overtime,,, my DH works 80 hours weeks during quarter closes and gets zilch for it, just his regular salary - so white collar isn't great either sometimes.
