Carolyn, I think I have plenty of Zinnias for now but I would love some Stokes aster and some veronica if you still have some. Thanks for thinking of me. I will start some cuttings of thyme, mint and rosemary for you but I dont have any seeds. I hear we are going to do a plant swap later. If not, I'll just mail you the started cuttings. Cam

Janaestone, I would like some of your false indigo, both types of phlox, speedwell and white yarrow if they are not already spoken for. Thanks, Cam

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Mellen, If you have not already done so and there are some left, would you please make an envy of fried eggs for me? Thanks, Cam

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Crit, just wait on the tuberose until you have a well-established clump. I will have plenty to keep me busy with all the seeds Ive already requested here. You are so kind to offer to share. Cam

Athens, PA

Cam

They are yours. I must tell you that I am not sure how much is chaff and how much is seed in the V. Sunny Blue Border. But, next year I should have more of the Veronica Fairytale Pink if you want to remind me around Julyish or so.

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

I've put you down for Asian Red-Leafed Hyacinth Bean seeds, Evelyn. I also have Yellow ones if you'd like to try those. Would you also like to try Peach Cannas?

Tonight I added Canna seeds to my haves that I collected in 2009, pretty much forgot about them and have kept them stored in our extra fridge. I don't know how well they'll germinate but Susie, it looks like some have grown well for you.

Plant Files says "Indica" is hardy to Zone 7B, but I'm in 7A and my rhizomes planted in a sheltered area next to our garage and covered with a heavy layer of mulch come back. I also have Hot Pink and Peach NOID's that are not hardy for me.

"Indica", 2 baggies, 6 seeds each
Peach NOID, 3 baggies, 7 seeds each
Hot Pink NOID, 3 baggies, 6 seeds each

Di, do you have a color preference for Castor Bean seeds? Would you like to try Red, Yellow or both?

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

Thank you so much!

I spent part of this afternoon packing reserved seeds and also received a confirmation from Johnny's that my order is on its way. As soon as it arrives, I'll be able to finish packing the seeds I've promised.

Susie, would you like for me to mail you the extra seeds I have so you can include them in the Robin as free-for-all?

FOTV-let me know if you don't get the cinnamon basil, i have a little.

To everyone in the snow storm areas-my prayers are with you. it looks really ugly on the news.

Everett, WA(Zone 8a)

Susan / FOTV,

I have some Hungarian Hot Wax Peppers from trades, and I KNOW they won't go in the ground this yeear, maybe not next year. You are welcome to them - in Round two, right?

Corey

Blue Ridge Mtns, VA(Zone 7a)

That sounds great, Corey. Thank you, and including them in Round 2 is fine. Our last frost date isn't til the middle of April and we're technically not out of the woods til early May.

We're lucky to only be getting a cold rain. My heart goes out to to anyone living in this mega storm's path. The news tonight said it will affect 100 million people, that's almost 1/3 of our entire Country's population.

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

FOTV, I have parsley seeds to share and yellow squash. Will put them aside for you.

We are beginning 4 days in a row of mid 20's at night and warm up above freezing wont happen until after midday. I spent all day today trying to get ready. Hope I didn't forget a plant somewhere. I prepared a place for the stray cat I feed to keep warm and fed her about 6. She did not eat it all and I heard a noise while watching TV. Looked and it was a possum who finished off the cat food, washed its face and lumbered off the porch. Cam

Athens, PA

Susan

I have some daylily seeds - does it matter what color? and a couple of Moonflower vine seeds I can send. Where are you in the Robin? Can I put them into it or would you want them mailed out to you?

Right now, we are getting the freezing rain. I am calling into work this morning. I do not do well with this type of weather. I am hoping we don't lose our power. That is my biggest fear.

I thought I would spend today, planting seeds, taking coleus and impatien cuttings and I saw a new recipe I want to try.......

Stay safe and warm everyone...... 45 days until Spring. ^_^

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

Gm To ALL :) SNOW SNOW SNOW EVERYWHERE

Susan / FotV,

Check on the Hungarian hot wax peppers.

>> My heart goes out to to anyone living in this mega storm's path.

Where I am, it's sunny for a chnage, but my breath fogged up for the third day in a row, in the early morning. Maybe no real frost, but still a relative cold spell ... but I'm not complaining at all.

Several bulbs sprouted over the last few weeks when it was a little warmer, and that also let me amend some screened clay and create a new bed and get some Lavatera out of pots and into the ground. .

But now the soil surface is frozen again "boo hoo" ;-)

Good luck to all you buried, cabin-fevered snow birds!

Corey

Sand Springs (Tulsa), OK(Zone 7a)

Carolyn, I have you down for spearmint and chocolate mint.

Mary, I have you down for chocolate mint. Will send in the spring. It is starts, not seed.
