They are all so pretty, it's hard to pick out which ones to comment on. I do love that copper colored one of yours pagardener. Very unique. Princess Bride was one I thought I'd lost, but it's back this year. Sort of a short plump one for a tall bearded, but cute.

Raku Rogue, not a fast multiplier for me, but striking.

Just loving all the pics!

Leawood, KS(Zone 5b)

A wonderful gardener and new local friend offered to share some of her iris with me last summer. She and I spent a couple afternoons digging, dividing and sorting a very small portion of her enormous collection.

My new varieties have rewarded me with wonderful blooms this spring - here are a few choice items - "In your dreams"

I JUST keep Punishing myself, I just keep coming back and looking, lincolnitess stop it. LOL! Please don't.... but just when I think I can't take it anymore you come back with over flowing photo's! Blue with envy!

Somerset, KY(Zone 6b)

Making long list of iris that you'd better protect or I just might make a raid on you!!!

Love that Sumarai Warrior!!!

oh lincolnitess,
they are just so lovely! Love em all. Excellant clump shots.

this one was sent to me as "Grandma's favorite purple" it isdark and I am so happy it is black! Another like it but a with a chocolate beard appeared along my fence row. No clue as to where he came from. This is the first year I have any dark blackish blooms besides Superstition which I love!

I like the dark varieties too! Here is 'Old Black Magic'

I like the dwarf dark irises. I have posted this on other threads, but meet 'Black Lightening' just introduced into commerce last fall. By Canadian hybridizer Chuck Chapman.

I gave the wrong ID for a photo above - this is 'Kevin's Theme' - very similar to 'In your Dreams' - but no cigar.

ANTHEM (Schreiner, 1956) -- Very large flower!

All I can say is WOW. I love Red, I love deep Purple, but I am having a problem, I love most of them. Oh well, another life, another time. But I do enjoy your photos. Especially seeing all those glorious numerous plants. Mine never get that thick because I am always giving someone something.

Generosity is a good thing. Here's OVATION (C. Tompkins, 1969). It really is pink!!

Frederick, MD(Zone 6b)

I keep trying and trying to find a "really" pink iris... mostly, I end up with pale coral pink or peach, which I then give away. I will take you at your word and be on the lookout for 'Ovation'!

South Hamilton, MA

Note the introduction date 1969. That one might be difficult to find.

Las Vegas, NV(Zone 9a)

Well we know where one is in Oak Lawn, Illinois.

South Hamilton, MA

Trowels?

Montgomery, TX(Zone 9a)

I can see all you Ninja Iris ladies, trowel in hand, jumping around figaro52's Oak Lawn, IL garden at night with a flash light looking for Ovation.
I don't know why that came to mind, but it was a funny thought.

Las Vegas, NV(Zone 9a)

Actually, you must have hacked our plan. Now we must revamp.

Land with helicopter & floodlights.

Montgomery, TX(Zone 9a)

You will need voice modulators so she doesn't know who she's caught when her alarms go off. With such beautiful iris they must be individually rigged with alarms.

South Hamilton, MA

Too technical for me - giggles. By the way 'Pink Attraction' is a nice pink if someone gets there first. Almost midnight on the east coast so goodnight all.

Cut Bank, MT(Zone 3a)

HAHAHA Morning can bring surprises. Sleep tight.

Las Vegas, NV(Zone 9a)

Yes, weird iris thieves only work under the dark of night. But we are also invisible. You can only hear our shovel.
