It is nice to see so many trumpets. I like the depth of 'Amethyst Temple' color.

Loving tracking each season through your pictures.

pard, bumper crop germination in your 'Flying Orienpet Mix'. I have two good looking pots, so I bet I have 10-15 of them.

Here's another 'Grandiose', an orienpet

Yes, this is the color here in Maine every year.....I often wondered why mine looks so much darker than everyone else's in PF.

I think I need to park a hammock right near this one, an intoxicatingly beautiful fragrance.

I have come to the conclusion that Silk Road can never look bad.

Baby ones, with alliums.

It was one of the last lillies I acquired, because I wasn't sure I liked it. I now grow it in three places. It's a knockout (Neal, watch out!!!)

Donna you are right. 'Silk Road' looks great everywhere, with anything. An established 'Silk Road' graces a garden like very few others. It's that stately structure, strong stem and the amazing way it makes everything around it look better. Nice shots.

Tracey I think you've nailed the reasons why. It also comes through with flying colors, regardless of conditions. It's almost embarassing that something that requires zero fussing looks so wonderful.

Forgive me, I was inspired to get the camera out one more time this evening, it appeared several lilies were calling:
