Nice blooms! Early rose is an oriental ~ it bloomed really short for me the first year.
Is your Music Art huge? Mine measured out at 9", not counting the curled-under tips.

Lovely Plum Crazy, Mags!

Wish I could tell you where to find Trogon ~ I got mine in a trade.

Thanks Moby, that makes more sense that it's an Oriental. And yes, it bloomed really short. :) Yes, Music Art is huge. :)

Elgin, IL(Zone 5a)

Lincolnitess – gorgeous lilies. I’ve never seen anything quite like Champayne. Unique.

Tracey, your test lily is amazing. I blush to recall that I was sent a test lily years ago and didn’t take good enough care of it. Coming from me – cute yard boy says I caress every leaf – that’s pretty shocking.

Diann, Tinos is beautiful. Tracey gives lovely gifts.

Those deer are naughty, Ticker. Did you go out and have a chat with them? They must be related to mine, lily lovin' fools!

My day begins with 'Wendy's Choice'

Ticker, 'Early Rose' is an early oriental. She's a beauty ;)

Your 'Burnished Rose' is especially lovely. :)

Mags, Yes, I agree with Mary, I like that Burnished Rose, but Rosemary North is nice too.

Donna, yes, Mags does give the best presents! :)

Those two little dearies are twin fawns and they are just a cute as cute can be. They were racing around those pine trees at the back like it was a speedway going about 90 MPH. :) I watched them for a good 30 minutes yesterday morning. They were out there jumping up and down and kicking up their heels having a good ole time. Momma was always near by, but she wasn't concerned for them in the least bit. Only once did they get nervous that's when they were whipping around the house and they lost site of her. They weren't really sure which way to go and then they cautiously tiptoed back around the house and saw her and the race was on again. LOL They are about the size of a black lab. They are fun to watch, I guess I'll just have to throw some Milorganite on the gardens and discourage them from tasting lilies. :)

Ticker...does your 'Tinos' have the strawberry middle this year? It seems to me that some years it is more pronounced than others. It sure is pretty.

Sharing is nice. What I have been given from friends, I truly treasure and think of kindness each time I see that plant. I really do. It's like having special friends in the garden.

The deer are so agile, but why oh why do they have to love magnolias and lilies, even some roses?? wouldn't that be painful?

Thanks for your nice comments. I too enjoy clicking and watching each one of your summer blooms. They are splendid!

Mags, Not so much this year. There is a faint little bit of the red, very faint.. :) It's still beautiful, tho. :)

I would expect that the fawns will try most anything. They nipped off several of my balloon flowers out back too. The little brats. It's a good thing that they are so cute or they'd be toast. :) LOL

I think this will be the year for me to invest in Martagons. I really am developing a love for them. So, it's off on a Marty hunt we go! :) LOL

More beauties every day! Mags, I'm not sure I'll rejoin the PNWLS after my first 2 years, but it has been fun to see what they have to offer. I was hoping for a little lower prices. So far the last Spring sale was the only one I've gotten lilies from. Can't remember where I got this one, but the sight of it blooming got me into my clothes and out with my camera. Here's Stunning.

I'm new to Dave's Garden. I've enjoyed seeing all your beautiful lilies and thought I'd share a picture of mine. I wish I could plant one of each! I have more that will be blooming soon. I can't wait to see more colors in the garden.

Welcome mugso1. That's a nice clump of lilies; can't wait to see more.

lincoln, Stunning is ... well, 'stunning' of course. ;-)

Anoka, MN(Zone 4a)

These are the first lilies I planted. They're pixies, but not sure of their name. I have orange pixies planted there too. I think I need to do divide them, but I'm really scared to do that.

Nice to have you with us Mugso1. Very pretty lilies. Don't be afraid to divide them. Fall is a good time.

Thanks daltri. I just checked and it looks like Stunning is one of buggycrazy's lilies. Should have known. Can't wait until her fall sale starts.
