Very friendly busy little butterfly. They love my Blue Mistflower and the Cosmos.
I had black caterpillars devour one stalk of my Frostweed plant (Verbesina virginica) in Aug 2007. Not sure what they were, I took a few and caged them. I kept fresh leaves in the cage and eventually they formed chrysalis and then eclosed early Sept. After release it stayed around long enough to get photographed.
