After being plagued with these pests for 3 months, I wonder if it's normal for them to have disappeared as of July. It almost seems too good to be true, especially for my Hollyhocks.

They were killing my hollyhocks, sprayed them with insectisidial soap x2 and no more problems

Rotten things clamp down onto the hollyhock buds and suck them dry. The plants never recover.
