I agree about the waste of idling cars, Lucy.

Yes, the good thing about snow this time of year is that it should not be around too long.

South Hamilton, MA

Yes, we waited for the spring game of 'pick up sticks'.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

what happened allison did he find the newpaper buried in the snow?

South Hamilton, MA

He didn't, his snow blower did,

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

yeah... trust me this is one of those battles I choose not to fight over... we get the paper delivered fri, sat and sunday... the paper that he wanted... 9 times out of 10 he doesn't pick the stupid thing up... I am at the point where I just walk passed it... got tired of picking it up... he just walks right by ... after a while I go pick them all up and dump them on him... and nicely ask AGAIN do you want me to cancel this

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

At least it's there in case he decides to read it. ^_^

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

still its pretty funny he ran one over - did you ask him if he read it first?

ours has its own liitle mail box

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Could have been worse - they could have just dropped off the telephone book.

Very nice, Jen! Hope he wiped his paws first.

He is a really good looking dog isn't he?.....I'm a proud mama!

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

The tops! "Mama"

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I love his light brown 'eyebrows'.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

Wow, Jen our table shots are eerily similar. Wall-e is becoming one handsome dude. This was the cat's reaction to the snow. He's a smart dude.

Phoenix, AZ(Zone 9a)

ohhhh Victor....you don't really want to know the temps out here...and if I complain about it you'll all think I'm nuts!!!

I'm really looking forward to a visit with Dad in April......already making list of what I need to do to get his gardens in shape! I hope the hibiscus moschuetos I planted in August make it through the winter!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

DH just got a call that tomorrow will be a delay of 2 hours because of ice. That cracked him up, cuz tomorrow's high is only going to be in the 20's. Not much melting, especially in 2 hours. LOL

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

We have delayed opening too.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

9 out now.... bbbbuuuurrrrr.... going up to 21... roads are going to be nice and icy after all that snow.. should be fun

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Hello everyone!
I've been away from DG way too long, I see.

As for the weather here today ..... COLD!!! But, at least the sun is shining.

Currently it is 8 degrees with bright sunshine and a bit of wind. The roads are still ice-covered in my immediate neighborhood, and the schoolbus was almost 25 minutes late picking up the little ones this morning!

I can't WAIT for Spring!!!!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

YAYYYYY!! Hi Candyce!!!!! So glad to see you posting!!!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hi, Candyce what you been up too??? Watching the races?

Clinton, CT(Zone 6b)

This should teach bulbs and buds a lesson. Bet they explode in growth when the snow melts next week.

Crocus bloomed in three areas of the lawn over the weekend. Put boxes over them Sunday afternoon and, if predictions are correct and temps rise above freezing, they get dug out Thursday.

Hi, Candyce! Glad you're back---now you can hear another anguished scream---9 deg., windy, and had to take in all the d--n garbage containers, papers, & yesterday's mail which came after dark! Sick of this!
