My goodness, DP!!! That's quite a contrast!
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 41
DH was watching the weather channel & Milwaukee got 12" of LAKE EFFECT snow. I can't remember it doing that. The winds pushed ice up on the beaches. They are NE of Cedar rapids.
Hi Candyce! Great to see you again.
David - we'll have to assume they're under there!
I left the gym and feeling a bit warm, opened the roof. Forgot about ice on top of the car. I wonder if that's how the plants felt yesterday.
Oh - did it fall in on you?
Improving, sun, but still cold temperature.
Love your cats V.
We are due for at least five days w/temps in the mid 30's to 50 maybe we will get some ground thawing started.

Sunny, ten degrees. I hate snow and winter.
Kitties look snug and happy Victor.
Venu I am glad other people do stuff like that. Makes me feel normal.
16 and clear. Warmer each day. Possible 60's on Sunday. Thanks on the kitties.
Not up to the teens as yet, but sunny.
Is that Sniff on the left Victor? The cats have the right idea in this cold March weather. Here's another kitty cuddler:

Yes. Sniff on the left, Crash in the middle and Spooky on the right.
it was 3 at home this morning
Wow - that's cold. 13 was the low here.
80 degrees with 70% humidity on my porch right now.
No. The sun does wonderful things.
Yes, the sun was warm on my face as I trudged up the drive for the papers---never looked at the temp! Don't want to! Lovely kits---and very smart to cuddle together in this weather---not like my stupid dale, sitting in 8" of snow like a day at the beach!
Very bright, but still below freezing--doesn't even melt snow off the branches.
Wall-e doesn't want to come inside he loves it out there...crazy dog!
It's 28 now, the low was 14
it is 24 for here and was perfect weather for my jog!!
It's bright, sunny, and cold. Supposed to warm up this weekend.
Personally, I am grateful for the snow - if we must have cold temperatures at night, I'd rather have the plants insulated by the snow.
A couple of years ago, I was sooooo delighted by the "early spring" - only to lose several plants that emerged only to be wiped out by a severe frost.
The snow was here during the bitter cold in Jan. when it was needed. Bitter cold often happens in Feb., early this year.
Welcome back, Candyce. You've been missed!
Victor - love that shot of Sniff, Crash and Spooky. They are adorable!
No snow here, gang!! But under 40 this morning.
good :)
14 now going up to 43
19 and clear. 60's this weekend!
Starting tomorrow .... rains for the next 4 days predicted. No more snow, I am guessing with fingers crossed! (Though, not likely, seeing as it is only March 5)

23 up to 42
Going up into the 30s, a lot of snow to melt.
Whoo Hoo!
It finally broke 32 degrees!!
Man, it's been cold!
We're at 41 now and sunny. The snow is melting pretty fast.
I wonder if we could even get to our house in NH now after all these months of so much snow! Let's hope it all melts everywhere now that daylight savings time is upon us. It CAN'T really snow during daylight savings time, can it????????? It will be heating up here into the 80s with humidity by the weekend. I actually prefer the cooler weather we've had here this winter. I haven't even put away my winter jacket and mittens from some of our early morning walks. It's the wind by the River that gets ya!!
