Somehow Louise, there doesn't seem to be as much snow this year as there was last year. I'm sure it will have all turned to beautiful mud by the time you head back North.
Today's Weather in Your Garden - 41
Just back from the Scout Pinewood Derby finals. My little guy won! He was so excited. It was very cute.
31 degrees here.
What are the Scout Pinewood Derby Finals? and congrats to your cute son!
It's a car race. You get a block of pine wood and wheels and nails. You have to cut it, paint it and race it on the provided track.
congrats to the little guy victor - i still remember competing in that race it was a lot of fun then and glad it still is - he must be pretty proud!

Thanks Bill. It is supposed to be written up in the local paper tomorrow.
I'm so glad you provided the pic, otherwise I would have imagined that he was sitting in it! Pass on the kudos to your son. He did great!!

I'm more than happy to share whatever color I've got!
I sowed morning glory seeds in huge pots on Sunday, they are already popping up through the soil! I know I may be sorry if they get out of control and re-seed themselves, but it is so hard to have color here in the middle of summer...the MG's can take it and look good doing it......
Great shot, Audrey!
Great job on the car! Auto engineer in the making! God knows we need them! The weather here is 30's & cloudy---going up to 45---maybe 60 on Sun. I have hyacinths popping up in southside garden.
Thanks Robin. I did the cutting and sanding. He helped with the painting. The ironic thing is that I have NO carpentry skills at all. I cut it with a dull hacksaw, while holding over the edge of a chair! Some of the others looked like they were designed and cut with a CAD/CAM system. Pretty funny.
Good thing you didn't cut thru the chair Victor.
They say it's going to be in the 50's clouds rolled in and it's breezy so it actually feels colder than yesterday.
Tomorrow 60.
Hubby is making a trip up to Cabela's http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/content/community/aboutus/retail/retail_stores/hamburg/hamburgphotogallery.html
with the kids while I go to a Tastefully Simple party.
I'd love to go to Cabelas. I always buy from them. Never been to the stores. Heard they're great. Is Tastefully Simple a woman's thing? Male strippers?
lol

If you like to eat.....
For some reason hubby didn't want to go
??????
So like a Tupperware party for good food?
ya
Not that I'll be buying anything.... I mean, come on, $8 for dip mix????
Ridiculous.
your hubby will jen - it is a proven fact that a human can not walk into a cabela's or bass pro shop and come out empty handed.
lol
56 degrees!
Congrats in order for Victor's son. Job well done!!!
Currently 57 snow is pretty much all gone.
Thanks Jan. 48 here.
Wow, you certainly talk a lot, I was only away a week. Still 61° here.
