Candyce - that's really great to know that there hasn't been as much snow there as we feared! We'll do our best to avoid mud season on our dirt road.......not fun!!

Congrats on DS's victory, Victor! Very cool car!

mrsj - love seeing your petunia! We must have something in common....LOL

It's so nice to hear that so many of you are beginning to have the spring temps, at least for a day here and there. It's no fun to be the only one wearing short sleeves!!! LOL

Hit 65 today. Gotta love it. I was amazed, I sat out this am talking to my Dad on the phone. I would say it was 8:30. Everything was snow covered and I mean several inches worth. I look out the window now and the only place I see snow is in the shaded spots or where I piled it real high!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Oh, that's great, Anita!! Congrats on your snow melt!! LOL With daylight savings time, that's one more hour of sun melting snow every day! It'll be warm and colorful before you know it! Enjoy!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Rains expected off and on until Thursday. At least the highs are all in the mid-40's!!

Spring must be here, all the plants in the greenhouse are awake and growing fast. Plus, there has been a plethora of birds and flocks about lately.

See the Canada Geese heading north again. We do get a lot of the migratory flocks through our area.

sorry Sherrie

I guess it could be worse. I think the record snow breaker was in June one year.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh boy.... that's not good

Snow in June I probably would have a heart attack

Heres what is wrote about the snow in June in NH

1816. Known as the poverty year, season cold and backward. June 6. Snow squalls. June 11. Heavy frost, destroying all corn. July 10. Frost.

South Hamilton, MA

Was 1816 the 'year without a summer' because of the volcano errupting in the south Pacific? I forget the volcano, but it was before Krakatoa.

No clue.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

ya know you just reminded me ... Randy and I are 6 years apart in age... he does not remember Mount Saint Helens ... he was 3... and I was 9.... freaky isn't it????...it's at those times he loves to remind me how old I am

:)

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Same here....4 years old than DH but he has no memory so it doesn't matter. lol

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I guess it does work out then doesn't it?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

When he reminds me of how old I am...I remind him that with age comes wisdom and to respect his elders!! LOL

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)
