Thanks, Ticker. I'm going over to look now.
The noid after Pandora is nice too. I hope someone can identify it.
Summer Lilies Part 9
Does this NOID http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=5407919 really have that pinky/lavender cast? I love it!
The pink one that Moby points out looks like Bergamo (sp.) to me...
velnita,
Yes, Copper crown has a scent and it's heavenly. I got mine from a Yahoo Co-op the supplier was The Lily Garden.
Moby,
My camera shows a bit more blue then there should be. I'd call it more a pink than a lavender.
Mainiac,
Thank you, That's a possibility. I bought this one before I realized the importance of keeping track of names.
Thank you all for your kind words. I get real excited about the pretties in my garden. It's nice to have someone to share it with.
Joy
Ooh Yeah! Tiger Woods is Gorgeous. They're both very pretty.

Could this one be Set Point? http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5407821 Do I see a some color breaking there?
Moby that one actually reminds me of 'Nostalgia'.
Moby...What does color breaking mean?
That's a possibility Mainiac. Though it looks like the petals might be wider. And the flowers on mine don't point down, they point straight out.
Thanks,
Joy
Wow! How cool is that.
'Tigermove' is your first one, isn't it? I love that one!
Oh and that smiling lily 'Angelique' Completely Adorable!
Gee Mags... you are right!! It is 'Tigermove' thanks!! Do you recognize the second one? LOL I think it may be 'Starfighter'....I wonder what happened to my tags, they are just vanishing!!

I agree with 'Starfighter'. Isn't that one a nice one too? The blooms last forever here.
Very nice Pixie!
I wish I would have gotten Garden Party instead of Arena...that is a nice looking lily!
I ordered my very first lily bulbs this last spring because of a sale. They just started opening today. Wow! I love the size and the fragrance! I think I may have started something. I love all of your lilies... gorgeous! I see some I think I have to have. Here is my very first lily.... 'Sorbonne'
GayLynn
GayLynn...Sorbonne is one of my favorites...Well done...very pretty!
There's no question you have started something that may be out of your control. I have determined the scent of a lily has the true intoxicating ability to take away all your good senses in it's quest for you to add a multitude of it's brothers and sisters to your garden...
Have fun!
I too just added 'Sorbonne ' to my garden this year....it's a beautiful lily!
Pretty! I love those late blooming rubrums.
WUUUNDERFUL pics mags!
I can see I need 'Journey's End'.
Thanks llilyfan. Have been doing more garden work these last couple of weeks and less photographing, so I haven't been around here as much.
'Journey's End' is a definite winner. It blooms nice and late and with such great form! Just as rewarding as those early bloomers, these late ones, to extend the season. 'Uchida' is worth it for just that reason as well, it blooms later here than the straight rubrum form, by a couple of weeks here anyway. Lilies in September...a must have for the midwesterner ;)
Journeys End IS NICE!!!!
I didn't know that Uchida bloomed a bit later. Now I know I need one (or two or...)
Very nice!! I need(want) one of each!
You just don't see Journey's End for sale very often--I must not be looking in the right place:lol: Back in the early 90's when I started getting into gardening, that was one of the first lilies that I saw in a catalog that I knew I had to have one day. That one has been on my list for a long time:) Gonna have to go looking about--this might be the year:lol:
Really gorgeous magnolialover!
If you find it let us know, I am searching too!
Will do:)
