Goldfinch4, your double yellow http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5261653 , I am quite sure, is Fata Morgana. Others here grow it. Lets see what they think . . .

Very well grown, too. Fata Morgana can be a little fickle, and doesn't always look so nice.

great lilies everyone. Isn't lily season just the greatest!

Here is an unnamed seedling from the Cockers

All simply gorgeous. You guys do good work.

I think we would all agree that buggy's touch is very special. llilyfan, that Cocker seedling is wonderful! Very very spotty! You are lucky to have it.

Ripon, WI(Zone 4a)

Leftwood, thanks for the ID on the double yellow - it sure does look like Fata Morgana. I guess ignorance is bliss - I didn't realize they were tricky to grow so I must've just got lucky.

Ticker, your Caravan is huge and much prettier than the pictures I've seen in catalogs.

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

Caravan Wow is stunning! Is it a big bloom?

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Madamn butterfly is beautiful. Really like Caravan too. Here's Scheherezade after a nice rain.

Do you think it's safe to change this one I have marked Golden Stardust to 'Conca d' Or'? You can see how large it is next to African Queen.

geopop, thanks for the information about American Style. I can't even find a photo of the real AS anymore. It must be a hard one to get ahold of.

Next question, do you think this is African Queen? That's what I bought it as, but that doesn't seem to mean much. Looking at the plantfile photos, some seem to have pink on the outside and others don't.

Thanks guys, and yes, Caravan is a big bloom. :)

Ticker, awesome lilies. Godzilla looks a lot like Scherazade on testosterone!

I must compare my unknown Golden Stargazer to Caravan......My American Heritage opened and seeing them toether it is clear they are not the same.

Susan, African Queen is a seedling grown variety callled a grex or strain and is not a clone, so there are going to be some differences in each 'seedling' even though they are all supposed to meet a standard. Yours looks closer to a Copper King to me than African Queen.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Susan ~ where did you get your African Queen? Mine came from B&D several years ago and looks just like yours except for the color of the stigma. Nothing but bright green ribs on the exterior.
