That pink Oriental looks like I must include it with my order. Mike

Steve, Love that yellow Oriental! Gorgeous!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

LOL OK Steve, now you're going to have to come up with a name for all these people.

Ripon, WI(Zone 4a)

Steve, that is such a "pure" yellow on your OT - love it!

This morning, I've several lilies opened. Who could help I.D. this one please? I've some Regales lilies last year Steve, I moved them at the end of the season, and they have yet to clue me in whether they're going to bloom this year or not.

A lily I bought potted at Walmart.

Walmart's and other box stores do carry some beautiful lilies. This is Muscadet that I found this early spring.

Nice! Is your pink one a shortie? It could be Denia ~ or what's the other name it goes by....Pink Pixie?

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

'Pink Pixie' is right, Moby.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

muscadet is lovely. mine have buds and they like houston (richmond), woohoo!

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Wow, Muscadet can take on zone 9? I'm in for a treat! The leaves are thick ovate and dark, lustrously green. They're by themselves worth having in the garden year round. :-)

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

it remains to be seen if it will dwindle in the upcoming years, but this is year 2 or 3, and so far, so good.

Yes, the letters in this case refer to the orientation of the bloom, a = upfacing, b = outfacing, and c = downfacing. The letters can mean other things in other divisions, sometimes I get totally confused, but have been trying to label all my asiatics with their orientation. I tagged that on out of habit. ^_^

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Thanks lilyfan, I'll make a note of those helpful info.

Lufkin, TX(Zone 8b)

Lovely pictures folks!! Keep them coming!

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

Nice pics, everyone.

Sue ~ I can't believe you have lilies open! It'll probably be a couple weeks for me.

(Sue) South Central, IA(Zone 5a)

I was shocked myself.....when I looked at them before heading to St. Louis I could see nothing that looked even remotely close to opening!

Greenwood, IN(Zone 5b)

Thanks you guys. I am happy to see that even the nrthern DG'ers are finally joing the lily fray in numbers. I really like your purple and white Asiatic, Ililyfan. Congrats on your first bloom!

I love your Asiatic potted lily, mattsmom :-) I like the color combination.

Lilylove, your bloomtime is similar to mine. My Regales are blooming now and actually most of them are finished. Post yours if it does anything this year! Love the Muscadet.

aggie, you're still having a lot of strong bloom from your Asiatics!

Divernon, IL(Zone 5b)

These might be Crimson Pixie. Colony seems to expand yearly. In the past it's bloomed earlier than this year.

well, i would have had a few new pics to share today, but woke up to a monsoon this morning! not that i am complaining, we needed the rain badly! however, when i went outside to check them at noon, most of my lilies were gone, shattered or the petals look like they were made of paper!

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Sorry about the mishap Tracie, thus far your collection has provided lots of joy to admirers like myself. Chin up, there will be next flush of blooms hopefully.
Kim

Here are some Yellow Tiger Lilies....we're needing some rain here, lots of thunderstorm in the region, but not a drop of rain, we'll just have to wait it out.

I love this thread and love lilies. But DH had open-heart surgery three weeks ago and I haven't had time to take pictures (or upload them if I manage to snap any). But I have some Corrida asiatics that have just opened and they really are lovely. Will try to post soon.

Tomah, WI

Georgia- Sure hope your DH is doing well. Sorry to hear about that.

Greenwood, IN(Zone 5b)

Those are nice Tigers, Kim - I like the way they're "framed" by the trees.

I wish the best and a speedy recovery to your husband, Jo - and the best to you.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I'll keep you both in my thoughts ~

Central, AL(Zone 7b)

Ga.Jo, best wishes for your DH speedy recovery. Hang in there, things should get better soon.

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

Ga. Jo, the lilies can wait. We just want your husband to have a speedy and full recovery.

Danielsville, GA(Zone 7b)

Ga. Jo, prayers for your husband.First things first.Mike
