Hi Soulja-
just viewing this thread. You have some lovely iris. That Kahteena reminds me of Tink in the first picture of it, with the more lavender colored standards...

In this picture (http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=4962537) I noticed some iris in the background were folded over and tied. Can you tell me the purpose for this? I've never seen that done before...
thank you

oh gosh Tink is lovely! Actually those are hyacinth folded & tied and i just do it because my friend does it and when I asked her why, she said that's just what she's always done because her friend does it... ha! ((( No I think it's just to keep the foliage gathering steam for next year while looking neater in the beds. I do it with the daffs too. I have lotsa bulbs between the irises. The lilies are up now for me and glads are on the way!

yes, Margie, i should and will post on plantfiles.
thanks for the reminder. Sassy Tart should be on there.

here's SKYWALKER from today

ok, thanks!...I was just wondering if there was some secret out there, I wasn't aware of :0)

South Hamilton, MA

I would consider Tink a TB rather than its BB registration, even with its unusual flower. Way out of class in our area and perhaps in other northern areas. Great color for the garden though.

Tomah, WI

I absolutely LOVE everyones iris. My list of "needs" is getting much longer! Keep 'em comming. I only have a few so far.

IRISMA-
In all honesty, I've seen Tink more frequently listed as a TB, than a BB, so I guess a lot of people are of your same opinion :0)

Have any pictures of yours?

ok, my addiction has started... just ordered 60 irises... oh well... I have a lot of places to plant... some more grass will have to go!!!! make a way for the irises....

Los Alamos, NM(Zone 5a)

You will never regret replacing grass with iris! Congratulations on your order.
