make sure you are using the key pad on the right side of keyboard. It doesn't work using the top row of number keys.

Well, that seems to work, now if any one could tell me how to just quote a sentence out of a longer post and quote juts the part you want, that would be neat.

Just delete the parts of the longer post that you don't want.

KY, Yea, it does work, read down all this thread so many (including me) had to keep trying, it was always something we did wrong. In my case I held down the ctr key instead of the shift key. but if you hold down the shift then press the 6 let go, press the - let go press the 6 again you will see what appears like a cats face, but once you post it it turns into a smiley some where in cyberspace! It's important to just press the 6-6 with no spaces while holding down the shift^_^

Thanks, but I was trying to load a picture of a different smiley I found on another website. For some reason, it didn't transfer. Oh, well!

I appreciate that, no need to apologize! That's what I love about DG, we are all willing to help one another. I hope you are warm down there, Jim--we have a windchill of 16 and 6" of snow. I know Florida hasn't had such a great winter, either.

I feel bad complaining about our "cold" weather, but that doesn't stop me. I'm no longer used to this weather and feel like I'm back in Valley Forge. Every time I watch the news about the North East being snowed in I kick myself for complaining.
