so jealous......... im in oregon and the fans are about 9-12 high now. so it will be another month or two before i have any iris. sigh.. though i did have one that bloomed early and is a very dark purple black. i dont know the name buts its very pretty. all the others are 'shy' right now. lol

We got quite warm here last week and they are really coming out now. Thanks Doss. Doss if you notice any discrepancies in names and photos, please don't hesitate to point them out to me. I have tried to cross check pretty thoroughly but mistakes do happen and some are so close that it's hard to tell.
Tigger, I think that you're right and since I do have Glacier Point planted in my garden, this is most likely it. Thanks!

Here's an '02 Blythe baby--GLINT: Standard Dwarf Bearded Iris, height: 12". Standards of muted mustard yellow heavily infused violet; Falls mustard yellow heavily infused rosy violet; Blue white beards.

This is a little clump--just put these in last year. It's just blooming its head off.

Wow, gorgeous iris, everyone! I was going to comment on individual varieties I like but as I was scrolling there were so many I couldn't keep track!!!
