Polys Polys.. I need Polys
LaLambchop - this is FFO on a seedling under very dry conditions. Still it is larger than Crown of Creation. I do not have Lemonberry Truffle - bought the seeds from Tribble" before she moved south in 2005, I think it is Kate Fearnoghty (sp?) I have about 5 plants - the first to plant to bloom was extra large with an intense green throat - but was not a poly - more bagel like.

Caribbean Whipped Cream has polyed on its last two blooms. This is the last.
I have heard that Carribbean Whipped Cream throws Poly's.. gorgeous!

This one is an unknown-about 8 1/2 inches bloom on short stalk that is surrounded by so much stuff that I cannot reach down to find that there isn't a tag anyway!!
This is its' first bloom, hoping that there are more buds, because I am running so far ahead on bloom stuff, that there will be little in Aug.
This one just started blooming this week. ( new this yr.)

I am sorry. I know nothing about daylilies. Could you explain a little better for my wee brain. I have two but would like to get more. BEV
Generally, a daylily flower has three larger sections-petals, and three more narrow sections behind the petals-sepals. When a daylily has poly petals there are more than three of each. If you scroll up and look at the photos posted, some have four of each and some have more. It may be easiest to count the "pointed" sections around the outside.
