definitely you qualify, and doesn't hurt to try i always say :)
how's the mulch going?
when I get ready to divide the lilies, I'll post here to see if anyone wants some bulbs, the red ones are starting to break open today,,,,aaaah I love them!
Cannas: CANNA ? ( Continued ) # 7
So far I have moved 43 Wheel barrow loads into place .
It's looking really grand . Took pics as well . Lots of pruning .
wow, that is a lot of mulch! guess the dogs are guarding it so someone doesn't come and take their stuff.
Tammie
oh that is looking great Kell... I bet it smells nice, too. Drink alot of water, is it hot today? Your doggies are cute, I don't think I had seen a picture of them before... we had a german shepherd growing up, so I'm partial.
More pics! please :)
Water ???
Paul will know what I am talking about here .
We discribe a job in cans of beer .
1 cubic yard takes 2 cans to move .
So with a 6pack I should be able to move 3 cy .
To dig a new fence post takes 1/2 a 6 pack . lol
By the way I don't drink BEER Anymore .
I used 11 bags of mulch this year. I'm glad I did cause I have alot less weeding to do. I don't envy that pile of mulch. To move that much here would not be worth the effort. I live on a hill and I would never take the mulch downhill, always up hill. lol. Learned that the hard way with dirt. Several weeks it took to move a pile smaller than your pile of mulch.
Red, can't wait!!
LOL. Nice dog.
Hey, Kell, I just found this forum..looks like very little traffic..note one of the threads..lol

stoner and moto ??? I know not what you speak of !!!
I guess the doggy is your best friend. :)
Great pics
Nice little group there.
I guessed right!! lol. I had figured that was your daughter and SIL.
We call these the ' Stairway to Heaven '
It used to be a dirt track a few years ago .
Takes anything from 2 to 10 minutes to walk to the top .
And I generally do it 40 times a day to set each one up for safety .
All the young ones I take them down my self .
As I carry all the safety gear on my belt .
Ever done any climbing in caves?
Great view!! Do you have a scanner? You can then just scan the pics then post them. I have a printer that has a scanner along with a few other features and it comes in handy. I don't know what I would do without a scanner.
No Pep , I dont have a scanner .
I just take a Pic of the photograph .
Then I always have it on the puter .
Just not as clear .
I think OH has one at School .
Might see if she will scan some of them .
And put them on the memory stick .
Good idea Pep .
WOW - those are awesome Ginger! So pretty, I love the view from the top of the stairs...
I can't believe how many times you go up those stairs !! .... Those rocks look alot like some we have here, are they clayish?
No Red , They are sandstone Cliffs .
100 years ago this was a quarry to get sandstone blocks from .
The Brisbane City Hall was built from stones quarried from this spot .
We have mostly Limestone here in MO.
Those stairs would kill me. lol. I can walk/hike miles but stairs? Can barely handle all the stairs I deal with everyday! lol. Going down is easy but going up in nowhere easy. lol
Is Limestone very soft ?
Today I have moved 40 more barrow loads of mulch .
Garden looking good . But the Big load still seems to be all there .
Yes, limestone is soft rock. They use it as gravel here and instead of sinking into the roadbed to help firm it up it turns into dust.
We have a mountain here made of pumice stone .
After big boulders started falling off ,
The National Parks and Wild Life Services closed the Park completely .
It was / is Called Crook Neck .
Ah, the infamous pumice. Used to rub the dead skin off the bottoms of hands and feet.
Thats the stuff .
As we were climbing this 1200 ft Mountain .
Big chunks of the good stuff would fall off in our hands .
Quite scary at times with many climbers below us .
I bet it was.
