Lily season is upon us ~ finally!
Here is Doeskin
Midwest Lilies
Those are very pretty, Moby - congrats!
oooh la la those are sure purty miss mary!
Thanks.
I'll bet you have a couple popping around your house, Sue......
You should add these 3 lilys to the plant file list. It doesnt appear that anyone has added the first 3 yet Moby.
Very nice. Doeskin has been on my wish list for a few years now, but for some reason, it's always aced out by something I want more. Maybe this fall.
Lovely, Lovely!
I'm getting just a little jealous here girl! Just have a few lilies starting...we are so dry, I wonder if that is why they are reluctant?
LOL We had a good shower a couple nights ago, and with the warmth things have been popping ~ but it just started. I bet you'll get going in a couple of days. :)
With all your lilies opening, makes me wonder what is going on at home. We are still in Lexington, Kentucky playing with the new grandson. The lilies down here are in full bloom. We toured the huge cemetary in Lexington today and oh my what beautiful flowers, including many plantings of lilies.
Got the little fella home, huh? Congrats on your new grand-addition. :)
Beautiful Moby! My lilies are up and only some are budding! I think I am way behind you!
Thanks for sharing your pretties! Doeskin is very nice - I haven't seen that one before.
Sue
We had such a mild winter ~ I have lilies in all states of development. I have an Oriental that will bloom tomorrow or the next day but some of my Asiatics are just getting good sized buds. Go figure......
I know just what you are talking about! I have some lilies that just broke ground about 3 weeks ago...and some blooming! So far none of my orientals are even close to blooming though.
The Oriental that is close is that freaky Rosario ~ but it's supposed to be an early bloomer anyway. So whatcha got that IS blooming?
I have lilies that are 3 feet tall with buds and another that just sprouted yesterday. I didn't keep track of what they were last year since I just started gardening :*{
intercessor
intercessor, one good thing about being a Dave's Garden member is that you get better about making markers for your plants. We always want to know the names of things we like so we can go get some. It does make trading easier!

Ooooh, I love Expression, Lollypop and Kiss Me Kate.
Kelly in OK
Doeskin and Tropical Dream are especially lovely. I wonder if deer love the Asiatics as much as the Orientals...?
Expression is a beauty, Moby. I need to put that one on my wish list. I think I'm going to have a pixie blooming in the next few days.
Sorry folks ~ that's not Expression. Desperately trying to figure out what it is.......
Edited to add:
Well, the official story is this: Apparently several of us got this lily when we thought we were buying Triumphator. It popped up away from the tag, thus me thinking it was Expression. So it is a certified "no name". :(

well, certified 'no name' with its lovely blush of pink is a winner!
For all you 'Expression' fans ~ it appears to be 'Marseille' http://www.lilynook.mb.ca/images/Asiatics/Marseille.jpg
There now, feels better doesn't it? :)
You've got some nice ones Moby. It's funny your ?? is Marseille and The ones I have labeled Marseille are ???. Solid pink so not Marseille for sure. Those lily companies do seem to like to keep us guessing.
