I believe you may be right. "Fairy" does look like the lavendar blush I have. I thank you again for finding that for me! Wanda, your pink looks a lot darker pink than mine, but they still may be the same, from what I understand, it makes a difference what type of soil and how much sun they get as to the color depth. Thanks!

Brenda its beautiful . Good start here comes the iris ? Kansas Go show us up i am predigest I am from Parson Kansas you have soil that is marveless there .all we have in OK. is a little soil from the twenty's that blew here from Kansas . LOL send more ?

This is my all time favorite iris and i thought i lost it .
i still had a piece and here it is . ROMEO (AKA - Peacocks Eye )

this iris has a history
it was reg. as Pfauen-Auge or Peacocks Eye it was grown under this name
since 1939 ' So after MUCH ado
it was decided it was not Peacocks Eye we were growing ???
it was ROMEO we were growing .sure glad thats clear now LOL

Starr - here's my Grandma's iris. It was blooming today and only one flower is open so far.

Tazzy, I just got 'Sailor' last fall or I'd share some. That little Iris just keeps on blooming and blooming and................. Mine turned out short, short, short.

sailor was short at show this year too .
I can kill it in one year .
I guess i am to old to hang with the sailors ? LOL

old let most go and lost ones i wanted to keep do to hired help and us both being to sick last year to care for them .

Your 'October Storm' is, indeed, correct. I don't know where you got the impression it's supposed to be burnt orange/cream, but that's wrong. OS is purple, just like in your pic.

Thanks, Laurie for keeping this confused gal straight! I kept photos of all the iris I planted last year for ID and I obviously saved the wrong photo to my hard drive. I kind of like it too. It was a sub from Suttons for one that was not available.
