Thanks doss - that's at the other half's house but mine will be coming along this month I hope. My Victoria Falls bloomed but that's it so far for the Beardeds. Oh, I do have this Louisiana Iris!

Those Louisiana iris sure haven't taken their shave yet. I swear that I see little yellow beards. Wrong photo? :-)

I love the peach and the raspberry together! That one is a knock out.

Well the leaves are different, but maybe you're right. Those were given to me about three years ago and I was told they were LA iris. Though you are right they do have beards!

OK - sorry my bad! All I have ever purchased were Bearded and Dutch Iris - so I guess I wouldn't know an LA Iris is I saw one - until now!

Actually, it looks a lot like Batik.

I just looked Master Plan up and you're right...I have the picture right on my site but the plant is mismarked. I'll look up Batik and compare, thank you oh wise one!

Similar, but the beards look on 'Batik' look like they have more orange at the throat than yours. I looked up 'Gnu Again' and 'Out of Control' which are also both very similar, but (again), the beards look different.

It could still be 'Batik'. You were saying that yours is shorter. Is it always shorter, or just this year? The reason I'm asking is that 'Batik' is a border bearded, which would make it the best choice for a possible i.d.

I can't tell you if it's always short...it was sent to me as a TB. Thanks for taking the time to help flower!
