Morning Glories 2021 #07

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

We came from here http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1551194
Helena the blue mg made another bloom today and it does appear to have a white streak or very lite blue looking almost white.streak # 1
I had to drag each of these pics to the page where I select photo's. I
think I will have to go purchase the portable drive like Helena did. No room in my pics is more than likely the problem
# 2 a different blue in the tub out back
# 3 unknown large purple sharing a pot with'

Beautiful blooms from previous thread and the ones here. I love that light blue with the dark blue in center. Your blooms today are really dark and pretty. The light pink on tie dye is nice too.
I wore my self out yesterday getting seedlings into bigger pots. Not even half done. The heat makes it worse. I did notice that some of the vines have buds on them.
Same vines still blooming for me.
I'm having same problem with running out of space on my phone for pictures.

Beautiful blooms ladies.

Thanks for the new thread Jackie.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena and Linda.
Helena, do what I do when its this hot. I spread newspapers on the kitchen floor to
catch the mess I make and be cool while repotting. Then just fold up and toss the newspaper in the trash and my clean up is done. :-)

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Our night temps got down to the 60's and the purps loved it.
# 2 pic might be a seed out of Fuji mxd, the blue with white bars
# 3 I don't know what this pink is, maybe an Early Call Mixed
# 4 Pink Tie Dye
# 5 Pres Bush showing 2 different looks

Gorgeous blooms this morning Helena. Love the pretty pink and Choc Silk.
I like the other shade of pink on the 2nd row., Isn't that the pink thats'
been blooming? Very pretty too,.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms Helena.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda. Yes, the 2nd row pink is the one that's been blooming for awhile. The 2nd just started and I was expecting my purple volunteer blooms so how did it turn pink I don't know. Mixed seeds up?
I have a new bloom from old seeds of Dany's #7...I refer it as fancy blue-purple
Congo had lots of blooms this morning

Those are beautiful blooms Helena. Love the striped purple ones.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Special blooms today Helena,. Love the lavender Silk and the Lav cross,
Beautiful Choc Silk, such a nice color. That pretty blue with large white bars makes me think of the mutant, murasaki.
I had a pink open today, supposed to be Emmas but I doubt it, doesn't look right

Those are both beautiful blooms Jackie.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
I don't know the I'd of that one Jackie, it could be the mutant. I did have old seeds of his mutant but I could not get them to germinate. So I have 3 or 4 vines with the same name tag Dany/'s #7.
Had 3 or 4 pink blooms from different vines. Congo still giving a good show.
Love your white cactus and pink bloom Jackie.

Beautiful blooms Helena. Love all the colors.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks ladies.
Helena, absolutely gorgeous blooms today. Love the pinks and the congo's
Pretty lavenders too. One of your blooms almost looks like Black King, very dark.
Helena, you know a few yrs ago I had a bloom that I couldn't tell if it was the mutant or a youjiro, because like your bloom,. the bars were huge but not quite as large as they usually are on the mutant. I need to look all the way back in my 2013 or 2014 seeds for good mutant seeds
Helen, I'm so happy your new vines are blooming, mine are pretty much through.
I may get a few from the back yard vines, they are newer.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
I'm happy with my blooms this morning. I finally got a couple of nice blooms from my old seed from Karen's dusky black specks. I'll be able to hopefully get fresh seeds from this vine. My other vines are blooming ok. I did give osmocode fertilizer to encourage blooms.

Helena, all lovely blooms this morning but that dusky black specks is to die
for. Love the white with soft pink throat below the pink blooms.
This Pres Bush my only nice bloom today

Thumbnail by patootie
Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. That dusky might have a more of a dark purple to black color after looking closer at it.
Pretty pink bloom Jackie. I see it made a few ready to pick seed pods already. I've collected a few seeds on a few of my vines too.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena. I've been picking seed pods for a while now. They are so tangled I just can't be sure of id of some of them. So I'll label those as mixed seeds.
Even if it's purple, it's so dark it looks black to me. :-)

Helena, that first photo is stunning.
I love all the blooms you are both posting.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda. I'm glad that I'm finally getting a few new blooms.
Jackie here's Lav. Saz from your seeds.
Then there's AoMurasaki-lav mix, and AoMurasaki- purple mix. Dusky-purple specks had 3 blooms again. I'm hand pollinating them. I also noticed that even though Congo has lots of blooms it's not making seed pods like it should.

Thanks Jackie. I think I still have some Congo seeds left, it's just finding them again might take time. I do need to hand pollinate some of the Congo blooms. The other purpurea you asked about is: (I must have gotten interrupted cuz I didn't finish my sentence.) I think that's supposed to have blues and raspberry from a few years ago.
Love your blooms Jackie. They all look good. Glad to got to report your gingers. Pretty blooms on all.
