Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena, I really like your blues and raspberry's mgs. Pretty colors and patterns.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Good morning everyone.
I love all your beautiful blooms you are both posting.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
Jackie I checked the tag of the purpurea you like and it says Sky blue shivery. I will probably try to grow the purpureas early spring next year. Things did not grow that good this year.
Only a few blooms this morning. Cloudy day again.

We posted at same time Jackie.
Your blooms are really beautiful. All of them, the blues and the purple with dark pink center are stunning! Love them all.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena. I see we posted at same time./
Love your new purp, Sky Blue Shivery The Congo does not make a bad pic, always special and I love the pink. I did not have enough pinks this yr to suit me.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms ladies. I appreciate you posting them.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
Linda I enjoy growing mgs and sharing the pics. It doesn't take long to do that. I hope to keep growing some in my gh this fall into winter.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda.
Helena, so happy you'll have mg's going this fall and winter for
all of us to enjoy. . I wish I had time to start a few but I
have met the enemy and it is me. Too old to do all I used to do.
Next yr I will sell off about half of my plants and buy a smaller green house. I
will just keep a few of my favorites. This is what I plan on doing, we'll see what actually happens,

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

1 bloom out front. No clue to it's id.

Jackie, I think I know how you fee. I noticed that it doesn't take much to tire me out.
Down sizing sounds good, I guess. I probably should do the same. I do want to try to still grow a few more mgs this fall.
I took these pics in the light rain this morning.

Pretty blooms this morning Helena. Love the Congo with
the large color block

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Lovely blooms ladies.

Gautier, MS

Jackie, we must have posted at same time yesterday again cuz I missed your post with the beautiful light blue with the dark blue ring center. Love those colors.
It's been raining all night, expecting flooding on roads. So no blooms this morning. Do have seeds with roots to get into small cups. I had bad luck with last batch, seems they were weak seedlings.probably old seeds.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena that light blue almost looks like Lite Blue Tie Dye, but that one doesn;t have that darker blue center I don;t think so anyway,
WE would love to have some of that rain. Hope you escape the flooding. Glad your new batch of seedlings are stronger
On my way to the foot dr, hate it when my feet hurt, a pic or 2 later.

Gautier, MS

Hope your visit to the doctor helps. It's terrible to have your feet hurting. I suffered with heel spurs for a couple of years but I finally wore them down.
A pic of seeds that I soaked over night. I can tell that some will be stronger vines than the ones that barely show the roots.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Hope you get some relief with your feet Jackie.
Helena, looks like you will have good plants growing soon.
We need rain so bad here.
So sad to see the coastal states hit with more rain.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks ladies, my foot is 100% better. The pain was awful interfering with
getting my chores done. Wish I had not waited so long.
Helena, you have some strong looking seeds sprouted, Hope they make beautiful blooms for you.
No rain here either Linda

I don't know what this is now, looks like a Blue Star, maybe Blue LYK
Blue in the tub out back
This pink seems to be out of Debs pink

I'm glad your free from the foot pain Jackie.
Your blooms are gorgeous. Hope you tag that first one. It has a bit of blzd too.
I only had 3 blooms, just glad the rain stopped for now. Did see a rainbow!

Thanks Helena.
I can't even remember the last time I saw a rainbow.
Gorgeous pink bloom you have this morning with white bars.
I had a similar pink bloom but not sure what it is. It could be Debs pink,
The icy blue and dark purple

Thanks Jackie.
Really love the color of your dark pink bloom. My looks like plain Jane. Beautiful blue ice and purple!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms ladies.

Jackie, glad your foot doesn't hurt now.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Helena I think your pink bloom looks a lot like mine.
it's very pretty.
Thanks Linda. I can walk and do my chores, shop with no pain, it's wonderful.
Today I went to Lowes and bought my new heater for my green house. It's
a larger heater than the one I had.

Gautier, MS

Glad you're not hurting any more Jackie.
I'd be interested to know what kind of heater you bought for your gh Jackie. I only use heating lamps but sometimes it seems it's not enough.
Today I had a new light pink hige bloom, the label says it's supposed to have red streaks but I don't see it yet. Quite a few blooms on milky way.

Helena, the name is something like Dyna-Glow.. I'll
double check that name in a few. It covers 750 square feet My g house is 12 x 24 so i needed a good sized one. When it got down to 1 degree I was running 2 electric heaters along with the gas heater. Holes in the plastic lining caused it to be so cold in there. Lowes has a smaller Dyna-Glow gas heater for 139.00, I didn't even price the electric heaters
Helena, do you have gas hook-up , it's a lot cheaper to use than electric?
Beautiful blooms, sometimes the higes take a while to show their true patterns and colors. I wonder if it was bred from the mg I call 10-10 it has red streaks
# 1 maybe Mt Fuji blue
# 2 Debs pink
# 3 deforned Blue silk
# 4 Lite Pink tie Dye out back
# 5 Tie Dye front yard

Thanks Jackie. That hige is from an Ebay seller. I think it might resemble peppermint twist. I don't have gas here. We use to have propane but after years we discontinued it. I do use a small space heater inside my room when it gets real cold.
I love all your beautiful blooms and the color of each one.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena,
A small electric heater might be just right for your g house for the coldest nights.
I hope we don;t have any bitter cold nights this winter.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms ladies. Love all the colors.
We are finally getting some much needed rain this afternoon. Even an inch will be nice. Temperature dropped from 102, to 86.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Glad you got rain Linda, we finally did too. We got 2 separate downpours, how nice it was. Hopefully the horse pasture will start growing again

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad you got some rain too.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda. We were getting pretty desperate.

Gautier, MS

I'm glad you got a bit of rain Jackie and Linda. I wish it would stop here so we can dry out to be able to cut the grass in the ditches. It's not constant rain, just popping up whenever it feels like it.
My blooms this morning. Saz had a huge split blooms, the others jus repeat.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Agreeing with Linda, beautiful blooms Helena, The Saz is petty even if it's split.
Love what looks like the mutant and the others too. I've enjoyed your pink and the lavenders too.
Dh is working on getting my new heater in the g house.
Hardly any blooms for me this morning
Dark purple out back, a large bloom
Lots of purps open after the rain
Pres Bush the only vine blooming out front

Beautiful blooms Jackie. Love your dark purple with the dark pink center. I'm pretty sure it's name is Akasuki no Murasaki (sp)?
Nice showing on your Rebecca and pretty pink bloom.
Glad your sh is working on your gh heater.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Jackie, your blooms are beautiful, but that first one is stunning. Love that color

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks girls.
Helena, I think you've given me the name of that purple mg before. I'll mark a seed pkt with the correct name. Nice to have a name for it, thank you.
Only Pres Bush blooming out front. He opened several blooms today

Your welcome Jackie. Your vine has made gorgeous blooms.
Beautiful Pres. Bush blooms too. Are they actually pink with darker pink stripes?
