Morning Glories 2019 #06

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Glad you're getting some good rain Helena.
Our rain should start this evening. Hard to know what to do Helena with my plants. If they get too waterlogged, I won't be able to lift them to return them to the g house.
It's a wait and see situation here.
I have a big purp blooming but closing too early for pics.

The sun is out here, the rain has stopped for now. It's calm too now no telling to if we will get more rain. Praying for those in La.

Nice to see your turtle returning. Looks like he is enjoying his feast.

Beautiful blooms ladies.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
My turtle knows where to come to get food. I'm pretty sure this area is it's home. I read a short article on FB that people shouldn't remove them from where the area they make their home. Yes help them cross the street but in the same direction where they are heading. This morning my turtle feasted on figs and cherries. Ate every bit of them.
Happy to see your pretty blooms Jackie. Rebecca, Pandy and Lav. Beauty look great. I lost my pandy for good, I don't even see the one along the road blooming anymore.

Thanks Linda and Helena.
Helena, DH rescues turtles ( I do too) that have been hit crossing the road. Sometimes he can just super glue them back togather, our vet has done that too. We both stop to help them cross the road.
I hope our rain is finished so we can start to dry out
Love your turtle pics and your pretty blooms Helena.
I should have another mg bloom open this week,
.

Beautiful blooms Helena. Sounds like your turtle was hungry.

Thanks Jackie and Linda.

I do enjoy feeding my turtle. Like seeing them in wild and in nature.
The sun is out here, I hope you are drying out too Jackie.
A few of my blooms!

Helena, no rain here for a few hours but still very cloudy. It should be gone by late afternoon or early evening. Just hoping we don't get dumped on again b4 it leaves.

Your blooms are beautiful, all of them from 2013! Love the gorgeous BMN. I do think that last bloom is a purp growing with you ip. nil.

Just wish the bugs weren't after them making my vine leaves look terrible.

Beautiful blooms everyone. I love all the colors.
Jackie, I have plenty of the tree morning glories to share. Send me your address in a message if you would like them. I have 15, that are rooted and in a pot right now. They are about 18 inches tall. I can ship them in a tube.
One of mine that bloomed this morning.

Pretty bloom Linda on your tree mg Linda.

No mg blooms this morning but was able to catch my new orange 4 o'clock bloom yesterday evening. The others were still opened this early morning.

Beautiful 4 o'clocks Helena.
Do you start yours in the ground or in pots?

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Helena, those are beautiful blooms. I love that orange.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
Jackie I just take the seeds of 4 o'clocks and press them in pots with other tropical and perennial plants I'm growing. I have a few that are in their own pots. I also recue a few that started growing where the seeds fell on the ground. I'm afraid if I grow them in the ground the more will eat the root.
My first bloom on Salvia Amante, a new salvia for me.

Helena, Beautiful color on your new Salvia. I might try a few 4 o'clocks in pots
next yr. I would try a few in the ground but I have so many invasive weeds now
that might choke them out.
DH has been ill with 1st one thing and another so now the weeds are winning.
