Morning Glories 2019 #06

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Beautiful blooms Helena.
Jackie, do you know who it belongs too? What did the police do?
Here in Texas we have the right to protect ourself and property. We have the right defend with a gun if needed.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Linda, we don;t know who it belongs to. I;m so tired I haven;t had time to work on it and I haven;t filed the police report yet.. Dh says its not going to do any good to file a police report,
Ds said if he sees the dog, he's going to shoot it. A neighbor told us on Facebook. it had already hurt someone elses pet.b4 it almost killed ours

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Sorry to hear it hurt someone else's animal.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Yes that's just awful that the dogs owner is so irresponsible, letting a vicious
animal run loose.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Linda.
Glad your sons cat is doing so much better Jackie.
I was out of town this weekend. Gad to be back to my flowers.
Really like this 2nd pic bloom on milky way cross.

Beautiful blooms Helena. Love the color's.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I love all the hybrids coming out of Milky
way the last few yrs. That pink and white in frame 2 at the bottom is just
to die for Helena. Do we have a name for the gorgeous purple in frame 3??

My Lite Blue Tie Dye opened today. I know this probably has a true name but I have no idea. It came up for me 7 or more yrs ago with a name tag that didn't match.

I love those blue colors.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Linda.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda and Jackie.
That pic of 3 set pink blooms came from the same vine, "pink split petals" is what I'm calling them with stipes & blzd, the other one I'm just calling it purple star. It's from Azuremore and he didn't name them. Some blooms have specks. I took pics this morning but didn't download them yet. A little different look to the blooms this morning.
Love your pretty blooms Jackie. The light blue is one of my favorite colors.

Thanks Helena. that pretty purple in the ;last frame did look like a purple star, very pretty. I love your pinks, did not realize it also came from the split petals but I see now
that it is also split, I love it.

Gorgeous blooms Helena.. Love your beautiful pink and purple blooms, the
purples are very showy. Love your small peach and yellow mg;s too. Is the red bloom from one of your Salvias??

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. If you mean the red bloom on the collage above from this morning, it's the little red ip coccinea. My red salvias are blooming but I don't take pictures of them very often.

The red blooms from yesterday on the collages is Anisacanthus quadrilliis(?) started from a mix of seed last year along with "pumpkin Anisacanthus.

Gorgeous Purple Star blooms Helena and I loved seeing the pretty Swallowtail butterfly.
The newest hurricane, Barry, is coming right for us here in central Arkansas.
But still just calling for 1-3 inches of rain. Eastern Ar is expecting 3-5 inches.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. I hope it's not too bad for you Jackie. I think we needed a lot more rain than we got, not sure what to expect from it.
I know everyone is panicking in Louisiana and other parts of the country where they will get too much rain.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I was hoping it would run out of steam after going thru La but since we're right above Louisiana, its going to get us. I may try to carry some of my plants back to the g house.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Praying the storm is not too bad for both of you. Please stay safe.

Helena those blooms and butterflies are awesome.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Linda.
We are getting the much needed rain at my house. I even have a hummer or two going to the plants. Not bad at all here so hope it doesn't get bad for you Jackie.
Always have to be concerned for the plants not to get too waterlogged too.
