38º here this morning. Still no frost, so trees are coloring up naturally.
Soybean harvest is wrapping up, some farmers well into corn harvest.
October Weather, changing seasons.
Corn harvest mostly done here, waiting on beans to turn more.

I live in town, so no harvest around here. :-( Our peppers are producing really well, though.
I picked 5 - 5 gallon pails of peppers this morning.Red, Yellow & Green.
I am picking plants clean as frost isn't far off.
I have about 1200 plants.
It's been a really good year!

It is 89 degrees right now, but at least the skies are blue and it is NOT raining for a change, and for that I am thankful.
Nice beautiful colored peppers. Glad you had a good year, CG, I'd be your best customer if I lived up there, I love love colored bell peppers. ☺
Some fall colors around my garden I took this morning....
6 hrs ago it was 67 and sunny , now it is windy , 58 degrees and the temperature is falling like a brick , wind is cold , 49 tonight , keeps falling and it will be colder ,
My computer says it's 65 but I know it's colder than that. Closer to 60 at this point if not colder.

This is the coolest morning we have had in 5 months. It was in the high 50s low 60s and only got into the mid to high 80s today. A guess fall is on its way but it doesn't seem to be too close.

They are calling for a high of 86F. There is a 60% chance of a trace of rain tomorrow. At this point, they are calling for 101F next Saturday. I think I'll scream.

56 for high and cloudy all day. I did take advantage of it and water some plantings I did the other day but didn't water until today. Also watched my dad and nephew plant a white pine. lol
Lisa, as I recall, we can get a rain shower in October and it will cool things down for a day or so and then it can get hot again with Santa Ana winds. I haven't seen them calling for Santa Anas yet but it is that time of the year.
