Fairy Garden Swap: The Land(ing) of Fairies Revealed
Thanks for the new room!
You're welcome! Have fun !
Oh, my! We have our first box being mailed out! Someone has been very busy!
What!?! I hope its a gnome picking its nose
Ok... yesterday's question asked Nowadays, fairies are often depicted with ordinary insect wings or butterfly wings, BUT HOW DID THEY FLY IN EARLY FOLKLORE TALES?
Answer: even very small fairies flew with magic, sometimes flying on ragwort stems or the backs of birds
NEW QUESTION: What are Fairy Rings and how are they made?
Have fun!
Froggie I didn't get my name.
CheerMom
I got my name!
Cheermom, you are welcome to join us if you are still interested? Please check your dmail.
Alicia, please check your dmail, too!
answer to yesterday's question: Fairy Rings are circles of rank or withered grass, often seen in lawns, meadows, and grass-plots. They are said to be produced by the fairies dancing on the spot. In reality, these rings are simply a fungus below the surface, which has seeded in a circular range, as many plants do.
NEXT QUESTION: WHAT IS A FAIRY'S FAVORITE COLOR?
HAVE FUN!
Where is everyone? We need some chat! I'm starting a pottery class tomorrow. It's something I've wanted to do for years. Can't wait to get started. It's a 10-week class, and I can take the class every 10 weeks as long as I pay the fee. I eventually want to learn to make my own designs!
Anyone have any questions about anything? I would like to apologize for not being on top of things and accidentally overlooking a couple of people in this swap. I do want them to join, and I would like to say once again that I am sorry.
Love, Julie
Beautiful houses! I'd love to win one of those! LOL
I agree, those houses are awesome!
Hey ya done moved and left me behind. That isn't nice. Gonna make my fairy's mad, then y'all be sorry!
Ya gotta follow the crumbs she left!
someone ate them
Oops! Sorry, I ate the crumbs. I was hungry! LOL
sure, that's a lame excuse if'n I ever heard on. LOL
Boy jordan I hope your fairies aren't like some of them we just learned about....!!! I'm scared...lol
So excited got my fairy stuff ordered but I had it sent to me cause I had to order some other stuff...lol plus never ordered from them before so I need to check them out. Fingers crossed hope they come out as nice as they look on the website...hope hope. I was a bit stumped but froggie came me some suggestions...thank you again

At least you have a handle...
at least I have an outhouse. your fairies have to squat
And what is wrong with squatin!?!? Iv day be a hat behind plenty of barns!
Just hope squatters dont have poison ivy around your house like I do....rofl.
I GOT my fairy package today!!! It is super cool. It has been raining off and on so I couldn't do much but set it up quickly cause I wanted to thank my buddy SPGardens, but I also wanted to share it with everyone. I have a beautiful pink fairy, with a really cool stepping stones (see the green) heading up to the door? 2 great flower pots with a very pretty flower on each, and then OMG the cutest fairy house, I mean how beautiful is this!!! Thank you SO much. It is just beautiful. I have things I want to add as decorations and will post once we stop raining, looks like probably Sunday before I will get to play with it. I am guessing pretty much SPGardens made it and it is so beautiful. Thank you again.
Joyce, that is so awesome! Looks really good under that tree! Babette did a great job!
Love the colors! And speaking of colors... Fairies prefer GREEN< then red is second!
NEXT QUESTION: WHO IS THE FAIRY NAMED CHLOE? YOU HAVE UNTIL SUNDAY TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION! HAVE FUN!
Awesome fairy house, Happ! I love that fairy, too!
Love tha house and fairy
cant be squatin on that! lol
Great Box Happ!!! that house is too cute, great job bab:)
:-) glad the house arrived in good condition and not broken.
Thanks Joyce for setting it up so quickly and taking photos.Your arrangement looks wonderful.
When it stops raining, hopefully the other smaller items sent can be displayed.
Hope you will enjoy your fairy garden for years to come....
I LOVE that fairy house and fairy! Nice job!
OMG Babette! I went to bed early last night because we left at 4am this morning and just got home! I almost passed out reading your post cause I missed the other "little" things!! Luckily since we left so early the trash did not go out and I ran and went thru the trash and got my box and there were my little things. whewwwww!
I will post complete pics tomorrow. Thank you thank you.
Oh yeah I am not throwing the box away until you tell me I got everything out of it....LOL
I am so sorry, but I was so excited with what I had in the picture I missed the other things. They are beautiful! I am so glad you said something. Thank you again!
You guys the house is amazing, you can understand why I was so excited about it.
as I giggle.... you're so cute.... had no idea that this little house can make someone so excited....
glad you are enjoying this swap..... as you can see, I have!..... lol!
That was a fun box.
I was actively trying to win one of the fairy houses until I missed a couple of questions. I've been kind of out of it. I went in about some "weird" skin on my nose and now I have these blisters all over my face from the doc freezing stuff off. Between being worried and just feeling funky about looking like I have the plague, well it's been a couple of emotional days. Being a red-head has it's downfalls. Wear your sun screen ladies.
Dee ~ the contest is still on....Julie is keeping a tally on the scores...so you still have a chance...
and hoping that your skin is healing and you are feeling better..... that Geode you made is gorgeous!
Dee, just keep playing. Remember I will draw a name, so everyone has a chance. It's just that some people will have their name put in more times! Does that make sense? LOL
Yes, that makes sense, and I haven't even had my coffee yet.
Ordering a light and sweet one for me ..... pass the salt please...
