No weather again. Light winds, a few passing showers, some high clouds blocking the sun, mid 70s. We only get excited about extreme weather so nothing to get excited about here.

Won't be posting much in the near future. Looks like weather will remain the same for the next week or so. Light to moderate tradewinds, mix of sun and showers, temps mid to upper 70s for us, low 80s near the coast. No weather systems in the vicinity.
Kittriana - I had to smile while reading your post about the lichen, moss and ferns growing in the cracks in the ....... go to next line and you say "rocks". Here in Hilo the roads are so bad and we get so much rain the moss and grass grow in the cracks in the ROAD. These are main paved streets in Hilo. I'll try and get a photo.
When our street pavement was old, we had grass and weeds growing in the cracks. I don't know what kept them going.

The winds are blowing- but of COURSE that is Norml in Chicago. 68* hi clouds and trees are still bare, I dont think people here even notice it in the city. You need to understand, Texas and where I grew up I expect grass burs goatheads and tumbleweeds more than even the wealth of growth that Houston gets. Fondly- I am goin to Texas by nex Week- it will probably be so hot I will wimp out of all the things I spend so many hours driving and plottin to do, chuckl. I was seen with my dh! O No!
