June Weather - Is it really Summer ?

Warmish today with very bright sunshine.

It is in the high 70's.Very nice night.

Cloudy right now, as is typical for June. (Overcast but no rain). They're calling for a high of 82F.

½" rain overnight. Cloudy, 60º. Good Grief, a heat wave!

92º. DH is mowing the lawn. I don't see how that can be good for him OR the grass.

78 and humid. Got some more rain overnight. All in all it feels pretty decent out. I'll take this over 90 any day. lol

i dont mind the heat..great for the most part of my gardening..
i do alot of mulching too..vegys and flowers/ornamentals..

The rain is gone for now.The sun is setting and its very nice out,beside the mud.

Beautiful day here in NW PA. Low humidity and temps in the 70's. Still drying out a bit from all the rain on Thursday and Friday. We had 2" but other nearby locations had as much as 5" and some flooding.

I managed to get most of the flower beds edged today, worked on the blueberry patch, mulched the tomatoes. did some mowing and potted up a huge Bushmaster tomato plant I found at a local greenhouse on clearance and ran it out to my in-laws.

I woke up to the sound of rain this morning, didn't even know there was a chance of rain. Strange spring is turning into a strange summer.

I think our April showers came late this year..

The BL Elderberry does not produce any berries except a stray one or two. The green one in front of the house is blooming like mad now. I am hoping to try them as I've never tasted elderberry before.

We made 100º today.

It's a wee bit cool this am (I shouldn't have laughed at Bernie yesterday ;S ). For safety sake my Hawaiian vine was put in the greenhouse with a heater last night.

Loving all the photos everyone is posting. Almost a full day of no rain yesterday, but it did sun-rain on me while out working in the garden...felt good. Sunny today and up to 94, getting summer temps here now.

The sun is out and its going to be another hot one today.

More rain today. We got 0.51" by the time I woke up at 6am. We sure do need it but I hope that when it's over it gets dry and clears out. I don't want any fungus (in the garden) problems like last year. It was unusually humid last year.

Turned out to be a lovely day today but it will be cool tonight. My fuchsias are loving this weather. I'm so happy I learned how to make moss baskets (they put on a much better show in them vs. the plastic ones for me)

Party sunny, high of 90 and probably will rain in the afternoon...always does in June.

We got another 1.45" yesterday so our 4 day total is somewhere in the 3.1" range. Not bad since we needed it but it is ridiculously muggy here so hopefully that all clears out soon.

Thunderstorms overnight. Cloudy this morning. 67º.

Got another 1.5 inches of rain last night, knocked the power out, wicked lightning. The kitties were even scared. Up to mid 90's again today and a chance of rain again. At least it was only 72° when I awoke this morning.

We've had no rain in June at all. Mid to upper 90s all week with a couple of 100s thrown in for fun. I don't mind the heat all that much but DH gets badly wilted by it. 93º now with high, thin clouds.
