With the wind and heat the past two days our wet fields are now dry.
Hot, hotter, really hot was the temps today in Saskatchewan (wouldn't be surprised if one city/town/village here broke a record today).
Crops are now being planted here .... those boys will be working til the sun disappears with rain in our forecast.

84? Wow. It has been cold here! They are saying 80s this week though, but we had freeze warnings for this morning. We have some veggies planted out, so were a bit frightened, but I think everything weathered okay. Is this not the craziest weather!!! And the wind....incredible.

Got a gorgeous braided oleander tree for a very reasonable price and a HUGE mandevilla at a local grocery store (my how times have changed...I remember drooling over so many of these plants here that our local fancy greenhouses didn't carry and now they are to be found, for much cheaper, at our grocery stores).
