Oh boy, I'm next!!! Can't wait! Meanwhile, here's my list:

Commercial Packets:
Nicotiana Fragrant Cloud
Petunia Avalanche White (2 pkts)
Snapdragon Montego White (12")
Platycodon Perlmutter (soft pink)
Tomato Sweet Million

From my garden or trades:
Nicotiana Nicki Pink (1 for Susie)
Nicotiana Fragrant Cloud
Nicotiana Langsdorfii
Datura Metel LaFleur
Datura inoxa White
Lobelia Siphilitica
Dianthus Sooty
Salvia Turkestiana
Squash Tromboncino

I have varying amounts of these, more than 1 or 2 trades of most, will put some aside for requests as long as supplies last.

Beth, there is no way to know when it's coming until much, much closer to your place on the list. You can start guessing 1 or 2 or 3 before you. If you know you're going to be away for more than a day or two and miss it, just tell Susie and she'll switch the order around so it doesn't sit waiting in one place too long.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

BETH JUST KEEP WATCH AT TOP AT THE LIST I try to post when it lands & takes off then you can see when it is getting closer to you .

Pam in case we don't get to do a trade with each other this spring for plants I would like to put in for the
Platycodon Perlmutter (soft pink) & Dianthus Sooty seeds . but i hope we get to do a swap :)

I will try to post later today ya all have a great day

Tampa, FL(Zone 9b)

Pam, I would like Salvia Turkestiana

(Pam) Warren, CT(Zone 5b)

I up-dated the list with requests and made a new post in the Haves and Wants. Susie, since you're at the end, I'll send your seeds out separately this week. BTW, I soaked the Platycodon seeds for 24 hours and they came up in 5 days. They now have big buds. Yippee!

Greensboro, NC(Zone 7b)

@Evelyn - if these are not spoken for they will work nicely in Max's Memorial Garden:

Chrysanthemum serotinum
Leonotis leonurus var. alba - White Lion's ear - 1 (few seeds)

@Shauna - I LOVE that image. I think I'll have to save a copy of it. :)

@Birder - there are no stupid questions ! The Robin will come to you in the order on Susie's list, and whoever is on the list kvbore you puts it back in the air via USPS and will have a delivery confirmation number so you can track its whereabouts.

@ Minne - I grew some echinops ritro last season but they don't bloom first year. There are about 8 plants are show pushing up new leaves and I am VERY excited. But I don't need more seed. xox

I will post a list of my haves which will be VERY long. Most of you know I grow natives, but I may add some things that I received this season already in trade that I can't use, if that's okay. You can just let me know what you want. I'll post the list on the other page since it's so long.

@ deejay - looks like this thread is just fine for our blabbity blah. . . .

Have a great day.

A.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

Oh pam I have to plant outside after the frost so i might not get the blooms like you have :) but want to try ty

Kiowa, CO(Zone 5b)

Amanda...are you saying you grew Echinops nitro from seed or just had the plant? If from seed any tips on the germination process that you used?

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

Pam can I also get a few seeds of the Tomato Sweet Million we all love cherry tomatos here

Kiowa, CO(Zone 5b)

Sorry, I have a request....Is it possible to have everyone put the height info on their packets of seeds. I'm guessing alot of people don't care, but I am going nuts trying to figure out heights on alllll the babies I'm growing, and hate to say many aren't listed when botanic name is not included.... I'm trying to map out my new garden and it's tough cuz I'm not sure what should be planted in front of what....YIKES!!!! I'm just trying to show them at their best, especially since I have such deep borders... Thanks!!!! I might just list some plants and people might just be able to randomly spout off info, becausse they've grown them.... I can on with many of the things I've been growing for years... Is that ok Susies? But almost all the seed I got from the trade were new to me.... ( I only have a limited amount of air time for puter so not much looking around outside of Dave's... In fact after gkid sitting tomorrow, I won't be back til Tues. Thanks, Kathy.

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

That fine Kathy sometimes I don't know height or just guess sorry but i Might have pictures if any are my seeds .

Kiowa, CO(Zone 5b)

Yes, many are susie, especially the hibiscus (aproximaes are ok, ie. 36-40", 48-60", 8-12", get the jist..lol.), many of which are doing very nicely!!!! But oh so many more...will begin looking ...sure will help with the planning stages.. Thanks. Ok, have my germination book with me and just made a list. Some of these are from other trades and previous years but any help would be appreciated. After the name I did put who they are from if I had it.... To make it easier on all of you that respond, you can just list the # and ht., color, zone, or other tidbit you might like to add, mostly looking for heights (and widths if avaiable), color would be nice too for those that don't contain it in their name.

Whoa Kathy! You've got your work cut out for you.

I did grow the Echinops from seed. I obtained it thru trade. I don't remember if there were any special germination requirements, but I will look back at my notes. The leaves coming up are very sturdy and I am so excited. :)

I took a look at the radar tonight to see if anyone who needed rain got any. Cold and wet is my least favorite weather. April showers they say...

(Pam) Warren, CT(Zone 5b)

Miss Tilly is a dwarf. i have it in too much shade so it sprawls, but here's what one website says: "Miss Tilly’ is a compact F1 hybrid that reaches only 6-8 inches in both height and diameter and produces an abundance of blue, star-shaped flowers above its dark-green foliage." It's also less hardy, z6 only, but I've had mine for 4 years.

The Astras: Large, interesting balloon-like buds burst open into long-lasting 3 inch star-shaped flowers in summer and into autumn the first year from seed. The dwarf 8-12 inch tall plants are exceptionally bushy, branching and heavy blooming. They thrive in part sun or light shade and in most areas of the country are quite long-lived. Perfect for edging borders, or use in patio containers or window boxes. Winter hardy to zone 4.

P Perlmutter: This rare, pink balloon flower has large, pale pink flowers with deeper pink veins. Also known as Perlmutterschale. Hardy in zones 3-9. Height 24"

Datura metel 'Double Blackcurrant Swirl'
A dynamic border, container or conservatory plant with large, beautifully double frilled flowers of blackcurrant and lilac-mauve. The many flowers are earlier than most and continue through to frosts outdoors. Flowers mid summer-autumn. Height 1.4m. (5ft)
Flowering Period:July, August, September, October
Sowing Months:February, March
Position:full sun

I hope this helps!
