A beautiful Saz out of Lite sds. I loved the pale color with the pretty speckles
Morning Glories 2010 # 22
Love that weird Saz! most unusual!
Thanks Jon, I love the Sazanami's and the weird Saz's were all pretty.
I had no luck with Sazanami's, three seedlings upped n died! I have 2 sds left to try again next year.
Yup! That Sazanami is a really nice cultivar! I fell in love with it last year. I wonder if anyone grew out the cross pollinated seeds I shared. I guess that is another one that I might want to grow over winter. My list is getting longer! LOL!
I know many are probably tired of my Flying Saucer blooms, but I still am enjoying them! This is a cluster of three today. Still growing in that little styrofoam cup! LOL LOL LOL How does a plant survive growing like that and still bloom, too???
Isn't it strange how temps change bloom color.. I know no of no other plant that shares this phenomenon.
Hmmm ... come to think of it ... I don't know of any other either, Jon! I am sure there is, I've just never grown it! LOL LOL LOL
Becky those are so pretty. I especially like your light pink hige
I don't remember if you sent me the crossed Saz's last yr. If you did, I will grow a couple this coming season. Your Saz was beautiful last yr.
Those bloom photos are stunning.. I really like the Saz and those pink higes.
Thanks Debra. Nice bloom Ronnie.
Jon, I'll send you some Saz sds gathered from my Saz growout this summer,

Still waiting on some of the vines to finish making sds.
Ronnie, that is drop dead Gorgeous! Mine didn't produce, as it was sprayed with weed killer by the neighbor.. ;(
Becky, Your hige blooms are just incredibly lovely.
Love the color on the Indica and Blue Speckles
Gorgeous blooms Robbie.
Thanks Jackie
Becky this is spectacular http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/2010/10/18/beckygardener/40495a.jpg
lovely blooms Robbie!
Thanks, y'all!
Is anyone getting seeds from their hige I. purpurea vines? None here, so far ...
Helena - Beautiful pink blooms! Always a joy to see blooms in the Fall! :-)
Lovely higes that Jackie and Robbie posted photos of! :-)
Thanks Ronnie and Becky.
I'm getting just a few seeds but not as many as i had hoped for and I'm gonna have to cut them off to finish up in the house in a glass of water.
Gorgeous blooms everyone! My hige gave me one seed pod. My blue striped shibouris, ronnies Blue/lav i purps, mittsy mail box, jaimie lynn, and the white i. purps, the flying saucers are still going. The moon flowers are really blooming. I brought I. indica inside, as well as sticto cardia and all the other tropical mgs. sticto has the whole closet..
Thanks Becky., I've gathered several sd pods from my hige. The
pods just seemed to turn crispy and brown all at once. They had been green forever,
:-)
Debra, love the Jamie Lynn and the lovely butterfly picture
I'm new here. I had no idea MG's came in so many beautiful varieties.
