Hi Everyone.

Dutchlady,I have to agree with everyone. That is a totally gorgeous plumeria. May we reserve it for a future thread starter?

merlee, I had almost the same experience today. I went to replace a dead Brug. only to find that it was green about a inch below the ground level.

phughes, It is so nice to see your pictures. They are both very pretty and pink!! That was a very nice welcome home present for DH.

vossner, Happy Spring!!

The plastic is off the hoop houses. I sprinkled a little chicken poo fertilizer around their roots, just waiting on the rain.

Beautiful pictures everyone!

Rita, I am quite partial to the Philodendron gloriosum myself and thanks to Steve Lucas for giving both you and I an I.D. for this Anthurium that I posted a pic. of on the last thread.

Anthurium watermaliense and I am really looking forward to my juvenile looking like this.

I've been shopping on Ebay myself and purchased this Philodendron "as" P. atabapoense. I really like the burgandy color on the underside of the leaves.

rachel, the red philo is awesome and exotic

RachelLF, many thanks to you and Steve Lucas for the proper name on that Anthurium.
I agree with vossner that Philo. Atabapoense is awesome, there are so many new interesting plants. I am running out of room in my Hoop House, and I refuse to get rid of my old reliable ho hum walmart plants.
The Hibiscus is very pretty, mine are starting to bloom as well.

Thank you vossner and Rita. When that philo. get's some good growth to it I would be more than happy to send you both a cutting if you would like. Just let me know.

Clematis.

Rita, talking about running out of room...you should see my indoor house jungle during the Winter months;-) I love it though and nice color on the morning glories you have shown. Debra was kind enough to send me alot of seeds for M.G's that I still need to get planted.

This Philodendron congo is getting to be a nice size plant.

Some really nice photos there. I like that Adenium 'Siam Purple'.
Makes mine look a little drab.

I was given what was called a Cooktown Orchid (Dendrobium bigibbum) but now that it's flowering I'm not really convinced. But it looks nice anyway. "Planted" it high up in a tree and now have to use a tall ladder to get photos of it. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Another of my epiphytic orchids well above ground level, Dendrobium affine.

Ground orchid this time, Spathoglottis plicata.

My Colocasia esculenta "Illustris" is flowering now. Interesting stripes.

No flowers yet but the Cyrtosperma johnstonii is looking good settled into its pool.

Same with the Cyrtosperma cuspidispathum.

Staying with aroids, Pistia stratiotes is good for filtering nutrients out of ponds. But you can't accuse it of having over-showy flowers. This lot are growing in heavy shade and so look a bit spindly.

This Alocasia reginula looks like it's setting seed.

A closer look. I'll have to keep an eye on it but I'd be surprised if it did.

My all-over-the-place Syngonium. It likes to take over and smother trees.
